The only thing I'm not fully getting here though, is Satoshi a pawn of the Invisible Hand, and is the Invisible Hand supposed to be the adversary of the Federal Reserve? I think I'm just not getting the Invisible Hand reference.

I really like the analogy, and I think you're on to something with the gamification of Steem and Steemit in order to attract more users. An achievement system similar to what WoW has would be a logical next step in addition to more increased gamification of the reputation and steem power scores.

I'll admit, this is how I approach just about everything in life. Ways to make the #'s go up, feel like I'm getting bigger, with the periodic 'DINGS' of a level or unlock (like increasing Rep level or first access to the slider bar.)

There really is quite a bit of psychology behind keeping people engaged with constant 'low hanging fruit' in games like WoW in particular. How often did we hear or say "just one more things before I'm done."

The trick is there is always that next 'thing' within reach. :P
