It was immediately after my ND program that I landed a job as office assistant in my church at home, I was supposed to use the space of 1year to go for Industrial Attachment(IT) as demanded by the school but I decided to use the period to gather money for the task ahead (HND).

In that church, they transfer pastors on an unplanned manner, so the first Pastor I worked with was very kind, I had no stress at all, we did the work effortlessly and I wholeheartedly enjoyed the moment. That one didn't stayed up to 3months that I started the work and he was transferred.

Another one was brought and was lovely as well, he and his family were very open and I was taken as their relative. Although I was stressed on the official work because the pastor doesn't understand most of the office stuffs, so I did most of the work including his own, but I didn't complained because I got some good experiences.

The one year finished and it was time for me to return back to school, he gave me an offer for me to continue the work while I work from school. He did that so that I'll keep sponsoring myself in school and not to stress my parent...how understanding he is!

I agreed, we structured everything and the planned looked so fine. 

I went back to school and I was running some of the errands from school, everything was going well untill he got transferred. 

Although the transfer came when we had break in school, so I was at home all through the period.

I had plans to quit the job before the new Pastor comes in, because I know it's not everyone (boss) that would accept that my terms of work. But because I was at home that period and it won't be fair for me to just quit before the new Pastor steps in, I stayed and welcomed him as the existing staff.

I told him everything and how I've been working from school but just waiting for him to report before quiting. Surprisingly, he insisted that I should continue the work process from school that since the previous boss coped with it, he can cope also. I knew he did that out of "he doesn't want to look wicked", so I tried to argue with him and explain things to him but he refused to let me go. So I continued the work.

Mehn! The few weeks I stayed with him before going back to school was something entirely different from what I used to experience from past bosses. I understand that change of pattern is very necessary...so I didn't complained.

But it got to a point where I was being treated unfairly because it looked that I was illegally employed, and then I haven't moved to school, I was still at home for the break. I just tendered my resignation letter but he refused again.

In as much as I want to job and money, I can't work in a place I'm not valued or seen as I'm occupying a position I'm not supposed to. I tried to terminate the work before leaving for school but he refused because he doesn't want to appear wicked in the sight of the people which I understood and explained to him but he refused.

Story cut short, I moved to school and I got some clear reactions from him that he's not okay with everything. So I quickly looked for an alternative of getting a fill up for him and wash off my hands. Yeah, I got someone that's suitable for the job and he liked him also, they got him employed and that settled and balanced the situation. With that, he didn't looked wicked because I was the one that brought the person he employed full time.

I became so free! I hate it when I'm working with the whole of my heart and I'm being disregarded, it doesn't go well with me at all. I was so happy to have left the work. 

Although I fully understand the whole process that it's not everyone that will accept one common thing, changes are bound to occur that's why I tried my best to let go at the initial stage but it didn't worked.
