안녕하세요. 키위파이입니다. 오늘 만들어본 영화 포스터는 2000년 개봉, 한국에서는 2001년 2월 개봉한 스티븐 달드리 감독의 '빌리  엘리어트'입니다. 2017년 1월 재개봉하기도 했죠. 

잉글랜드 북동부 더럼 카운티(County Durham) 에버링턴(Everington) 마을 (가상의 마을)에 살고 있는 11살 소년의 성장기를 담은 영화로 ‘철의 여인’ 마가렛 대처에게 패배한 전국광부조합의 1년간의 파업과 투쟁의 역사(1984~1985년)를 배경으로 하고 있습니다. 

아마 많은 분들이 이미 보셨고 사랑하는 인생영화로 꼽는 영화일텐데 주인공의 마지막에 백조가 되어 비상하는 장면은 전율과 감동 그 자체였지요.  

당시 영국 영화계에서 엄청난 대박을 치며 각종 상을 휩쓸었는데 엘튼 존이 참여한 뮤지컬로도 제작되어 지금까지 성황리에 공연중에 있습니다. 

보수적이고 상남자인 아버지앞에서 처음으로 선보였던 댄스씬은  다시봐도 유쾌하고 감동적인 명장면입니다. T^T

스틸컷을 찾아보니 재개봉시 이미 포스터를 워낙 훌륭하게 디자인했었더군요. 레터링도 신경쓴 흔적이 보이고... 여성 디자인분이 한듯...ㅎㅎ
