A veces solemos presentar o mostrar las cosas buenas de lo proyectos, la buena experiencia que se ha tenido en el transcurso de una carrera en mi caso la musical y los éxitos obtenidos en el camino; pero pienso que las malas también deben ser mostradas, porque a partir de ella es donde decidimos mejorar y tomarlas como un aprendizaje para crecer.

Hoy te voy a contar una de ellas 🤭. Hace algunos años tuve un recital donde debía presentar de memoria el adagio de la sonata número 1 de Bach, jamás en mi carrera había tenido problema con la memoria, pero los nervios siempre hacen de la suya y ese día al frente del público y mi maestro, se me olvidó la mitad del movimiento 😰

En el momento entras en pánico porque como músicos sabemos que debemos resolver, obviamente no podía improvisar porque es Bach, así que decidí comenzar desde el inicio confiando que en el camino iba a tomar de nuevo el control y la pieza iba a salir, pero no, me volví a quedar trancada en el mismo lugar. Siendo mi segunda oportunidad para resolver, mi nueva idea fue salir corriendo al puesto de mi mamá que tenía mi estuche de violín y adentro estaba el libro con la partitura,  lo saqué para seguir mi concierto leyendo la hoja y de esa manera salí a salvo.

Al terminar no me sentí triunfadora porque no era el resultado que esperaba, más la cara de mi maestro quizás pensaba en “decepción” o quizás no, pero en ese momento se te cruzan una y mil cosas por tu cabeza. Desde ese entonces quedó esa espina latente de que en alguna otra ocasión vuelva a pasar, pero todo se solventó cuando meses después hice mi concierto de grado y todo salió excelente, tocando un repertorio largo, difícil de memoria y sin errores.

¿Cuál es la moraleja del asunto? Que son experiencias que se deben de pasar para así tener un plan de emergencia y saber como se debe reaccionar antes esas situaciones, tomar el control de tu cuerpo pero accionando todas las alarmas y gritar internamente ALERTAAAAAAAAA 🔔.  ¡El show debe continuar!

Sometimes we usually present or show the good things about the projects, the good experience that has been had in the course of a career in my case the musical one and the successes obtained along the way; but I think that the bad ones should also be shown, because it is from there that we decide to improve and take them as learning to grow.

Today I'm going to tell you one of them 🤭. A few years ago I had a recital where I had to present the adagio of Bach's sonata number 1 from memory, never in my career had I had a problem with memory, but nerves always play their part and that day in front of the public and my teacher , I forgot half the movement 😰

At the moment you panic because as musicians we know what we have to solve, obviously I couldn't improvise because it's Bach, so I decided to start from the beginning trusting that along the way I would take control again and the piece would come out, but no I got stuck in the same place again. Being my second chance to resolve, my new idea was to run to my mom's stall that had my violin case and inside was the book with the score, I took it out to continue my concert reading the sheet and that way I got out safe.

When I finished I didn't feel like a winner because it wasn't the result I was expecting, plus my teacher's face maybe thought of "disappointment" or maybe not, but at that moment a thousand things cross your mind. Since then there has been that latent thorn that it might happen again some other time, but everything was solved when months later I did my graduation concert and everything went excellent, playing a long repertoire, difficult to remember and without mistakes.

What is the moral of the matter? What are experiences that must be passed in order to have an emergency plan and know how to react to these situations, take control of your body but triggering all the alarms and internally shout ALERTAAAAAAAAA 🔔. The show must go on!
