The last v0.7.8 patch of [Hive-Roller.com](https://www.hive-roller.com) saw the introduction of some serious site instability due to oversight on error handling on the back end. As of 5 minutes before this post the new version is up and running as v0.7.9 with basically all modifications to the site being realized on the back end.

Over 1000 lines of code were expanded in order to better handle once server crashing errors it is my hope that the site will experience far greater periods of uptime as well as more regular users betting and investing. I apologize for the site instability and downtime over the past 2 weeks. Will keep plugging away at it in order to get the site stable in preparation for v0.8.0 which will see a brand new GUI offering support for all screen resolutions as well as other optimizations. While a release date for the v0.8.0 isn't known yet it should likely be before the end of this month if all goes according to plan.

This v0.7.9 patch was lightly tested before being deployed and as such it must be said that the site is currently in an online alpha development phase. All players and investors should consider themselves alpha testers and be aware that bugs, downtime and janky code is to be expected. While I do the best I can to ensure that everything is safe and secure this is the time to test things out. The site may crash, user data may become corrupted, things might break or exploits might be found. Please keep this in mind when rolling and investing. This is alpha testing and I assume no responsibility for any janky code fuckery.

<center><h1>Big Things on The Horizon</h1></center>

Once we're up to v0.8.0 a number of new features will begin to be integrated through development including enabling multiple tokens on the site such as HBD and Hive-Engine tokens. Those wishing to have their token listed on the site will have to apply to be added with some sort of integration fee which has yet to be determined. With the introduction of referral links last patch and a new mobile friendly GUI coming next patch the site is slowly but surely starting to get more popular and positioning itself to become the de-facto provably fair game of chance on the HIVE blockchain. It's already the fastest as well as the only one that provides an opportunity to invest in the bankroll without tying your funds up for long periods of time.

Instant deposits and withdrawals as well as investing and divesting with single button clicks allows HIVE users to dabble in investing in the sites bankroll (with up to 99x leverage) allowing them to profit as gamblers lose to the 1% house edge is one of the most potentially lucrative investment platforms on Hive.

After the site branches into multi token support the next step will be diversifying the games available on site. Slots are the first one planned to be added to the site, and will share the same bankroll as the current dice game. After that perhaps card games like blackjack or the crash game something similar to what the old moonsteem game use to run could be added as well. Although it will be closer to the end of the year before we are likely to see more games being added. What games of chance would you like to see?
