<center><h1>And THIS is Why We Do Testing...</h1></center>

It came to my attention today that the code used to calculate referral payouts, site commission and investors profit percentage has contained a rounding error since it was updated roughly 21 days ago causing the site to slowly add more HIVE to it's bankroll than it should have been. 

While I'm still going through and recalculating everything to see exactly how much HIVE this rounding error has caused to be injected into the bankroll, at this time it seems it isn't beyond what I have the ability to cover out of my own pocket. Nobody but myself is to blame for not taking due diligence to ensure that the code was operating properly and thus any extra HIVE injected into the bankroll or users balances because of this will come out of my own pocket rather than penalizing the player base that did nothing wrong.

<center><h1>Temporary Fixes in Place Until Issue Can be Rectified</h1></center>

The original pre-referral system bankroll calculation code has been re-instated until I can completely audit, correct and test the referral payout code again in order to not have anything like this happen again. As stated above I will be covering any HIVE discrepancies on accounts out of my own pocket as I believe this is the correct thing to do, given none of the users have done anything wrong purposefully from what I can tell. The site is still in alpha testing and stuff like this, while unfortunate, can happen.

For the time being the referral system has been disabled on the back end until code refactoring can be done in order to correct the issue in calculations. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and will be working throughout the night in order to figure out exactly how much HIVE the site needs to correct this issue. Started a powerdown on my personal account in order to cover any outstanding amounts needed to bring the site back up to the amount of HIVE needed to cover everything caused by this.

I apologize for anyone affected by this error, although nobody should have lost HIVE due to it, the only real potential loss is that of referral payouts while the system is being reworked.. Sorry about this. :(

<center><h1>Update: System Has Been Audited..</h1></center>

UPDATE: I've audited the bankroll / investments and found an outstanding 955.51457866 HIVE that need to be added to the account to cover the HIVE injected into the system due to this rounding error. I'll get a loan here tonight or tomorrow and add it to the site account in order to cover the HIVE created in the system due to this error. Once this is added to the hive-roller.com account we should be good again.

While this is a bit embarrassing for sure it was decided that rather than try and be hush-hush about it that I be as transparent as possible in this error as to not be accused of trying to cover things up or brush this issue under the rug. Well aware that this may cause some suspicions as to if the other code on the site is up to production ready standards.. But honesty is the best policy when running services like this and I'd much rather be honest and public about issues such as this rather than be secretive.

Due to the nature of this bug until I can procure a loan to add to the hive-roller.com site account some withdrawals may not be able to be filled. Once the outstanding 955.515 HIVE has been added to the sites account we'll be back to business as usual. The refer payout code will need to be rewritten and undergo further testing before it is re-instated in the live version of the site.

Betting and Investing will continue on that site as the code that was causing the issue has been reverted to a state prior to the bug being introduced. Once the hive-roller.com account has the 955.515 HIVE added to it everything should be OK. Going to be adding some "sanity checks" to the sites code as well in order to prevent something like this happening in the future.

<center><b>No more coding while drunk for this guy...</b></center>

Below is record of transfers being sent to the hive-roller.com account with the "null" memo which credits it directly to the account without applying it to anyone's accounts. Consider these payments against the outstanding amount caused by this bug. Once the outstanding amount is zero everything is rectified.

<b>UPDATE</b> The site has had an update to correct the improperly calculated bankroll values and I'll be paying any site commission earned towards the outstanding HIVE on the site. For example, we have a small account here that belongs to a social club in Germany. Donations were collected here, and every month a few dollars were collected.

But since ONE person - the witness at HIVE called @Pfunk (a witness is actually someone who is supposed to represent the members) has problems with the founder of the social organisation, he makes sure that all donations are deducted from the small account. Others who also support the account are also punished, and all income is also deducted.

If you publish here, make sure that you only publish what is of benefit to the owners of the assets on HIVE. You must never express your own opinion or criticize someone who is a witness or owner of power.

You will soon find out that you only earn a few cents here. Others, however, sometimes enrich themselves extremely. Look around, you'll soon find that some people get 2 or even 3-digit $ amounts for small contributions, but you don't even get 50 cents.

Now that the account has basically become useless to us, we have made it our mission to inform all new members about what to expect here in the block chain.

There is no way to fight against the rulers of HIVE. You can only inform others and especially new members.

Almost bad to proper again. A few more days of site usage and me tossing the site commission at the outstanding then should be good. After that I can get you repaid for helping out with this whole mess and continue forwards!

Honestly rather than try to cover it up and brush it under the table while quietly fixing things the right thing to do was admit that I've fucked up and go about fixing it.

It sucks to admit that you've fucked up. But at the end of the day I'd rather be transparent about matters like this and get things fixed while being publicly accountable for it. I'm just glad this was caught in time for me to be able to fix things before it got completely out of hand to the point I wasn't able to fix it out of my own pocket.

I'm not the best coder, but as far as being honest about that I'll always admit when things have gotten fucked up and be public about fixing them rather than trying to brush it off and cover things up.

By the end of the day I'll have this fixed, with a new, better tested algorithm in place to deal with this and hopefully when one of the guys here on HIVE I've asked for a loan come through we'll be back to proper runnings. Speed bump in the road. But certainly better to catch in now than later.
