This change wasn't taken lightly, but due to access to an API I was using to build my own charting on site currently being out of my operating budget range, encountering issues with the display and update renderings that would take time consuming investigation, plus the available tools supplied by TradingView.com's offering far greater functionality than the time it would cost for me to code the same functionality, it was decided that until some time later down the road the charting provided on Hive.Loans will serve as reference only rather than an entirely reflective display of the data used by the site being currently used in calculations. This is a temporary solution and will not be permanent.

This may lead in discrepancy / differences between the chart display price and the average calculated asset price that the site uses to calculate position profits or loses however will have no effect on the outcome of said positions. The site uses aggregate data averaged amongst various exchange price sources in order to hopefully mitigate any ability for a wealthy trader to target a single exchange used for on-site price calculations and be able to effectively game the systems on-site for profit by manipulating market price in favour of positions they may have open on Hive.Loans.

With a platform like this there are a huge number of potential attack vectors and operational security measures that need be taken in order to provide a secure and fair service free of outside dangers. While every precaution to prevent any sort of price tampering on any one exchange effecting the HIVE / USD pricing used to calculate position profits on-site is being taken to prevent system gaming only time will tell if the availability of this financial vehicle leads to market manipulations.

<center><h1>Sometimes it's Not About What I Want..</h1></center>

While it's entirely feasible I may be able to hack site price data updates into the TradingView chart display (and is something I'm going to have a whack at here tonight) and the difference between chart and site price may be a superficial cause for concern to those not understanding or reading the on-site explanation in order to get the public beta going without further week long or more delays this was the best course of action. If I wasn't trying to get public beta testing going quickly to test the site before launching the production version and could afford the time to bring my own chart implementation onto the site into full maturity, that is what would be done.. However realizing I have to put my ego aside in favour of community demand I put my pride aside this time and implemented the tradingview charts temporarily in order to not have to delay another few weeks or month..
