 Why is new technology more expensive? New technology always comes with new features, hence contains more value, therefore more expensive. People pay more money for more value. You will pay more for fresh apples rather than for old ones, why? Fresh apples are more juicer than others, hence contains more value, therefore more expensive. Similarly, our value defines our worth in the market. And how do we show our value? Through our work! And, how will our work have more value? It will have more value if we have something new to offer. Now the question is, how can we offer something new through our work? So, if we are not learning the "LATEST", how can we bring out the "LATEST". That brings us to the conclusion that if we want to increase our value we too have to learn the "LATEST" so that we can show that in our work. And thus our worth in the market will increase. Now, where do we find the "LATEST"?  The latest is not in the books but in the ongoing journeys of the people. We have to get connected with like-minded people who share similar interests and get the latest insights from their journeys. How good you are at work is now judged by what latest or new are you offering. Moreover, this way you will not only increase your value but also could afford the other valuable things in the market. To afford valuable products you too require to raise your own value.

If we want to add value to our work it must be in line with the new, customers always want the latest, the best that can be offered, so constant training is important, courses and conferences are the best option because it is usually discuss and expose the latest in certain areas, so doctors and engineers, to name a few professions, are maintained by publishing writings and attending conferences.
