#### "Dried Chive Flower Toppings on Tofu"

I posted how to make <a href="https://hive.blog/hive-120586/@koto-art/chive-vinegar-english-and-japanese"> Chive Vinegar</a> before. At the same time, I was drying some of the chive flowers to make dried flowers. I usually take out the seeds and eat the dried flowers as salad toppings. This time, I ate it with tofu. Even dried, the chive flowers have a very good smell. Tofu and dried chive flowers create a nice summer flavour! Pink flowers makes us happy. 

#### "豆腐にドライチャイブをトッピング"

以前<a href="https://hive.blog/hive-120586/@koto-art/chive-vinegar-english-and-japanese"> チャイブビネガー</a>の作り方を投稿しました。同時にチャイブの花を乾燥させてドライフラワーを作っていました。ドライフラワーからはたいていタネをとったりサラダのトッピングにして食べます。今回は豆腐にのせて食べました。乾燥していてもチャイブの花のいい香りがします。豆腐とドライチャイブが夏の香りを届けてくれます!ピンクの花が気分を上げてくれます。

#### Ingredients
・Tofu 1 pack 300g for two people
・Ginger 5-10 g
・Dried chive flowers to taste
・Soy sauce to taste

Making time is about 5-7 minutes including the preparation time.

##### 材料
・豆腐 1パック 300g 2人分
・しょうが 5−10g
・乾燥させたチャイブの花 少々
・しょうゆ 少々

調理時間は準備時間も含め約5−7分。

1. Hang tied flowers somewhere shady with cool air breeze for at least 3-4 weeks. They create nice herb smells so probably they are good to keep bugs away.

2. After completely drying, take flowers from the stems. You can put stems in soup to make flavour if you like. 


1、風通しのよい日陰に花を束ねて最低でも3−4週間吊るしておきます。ハーブのいい香りがするので虫除けにもいい気がします。

2、完全に乾燥したら茎から花の部分をとります。茎はスープの香り付けに使ってもいいです。

1. Wash tofu and cut it into two pieces.
2. Put in small dishes (if you like warm tofu, heat it in the microwave oven for 40-50 seconds).
3. Chop ginger into small thin pieces.
4. Put ginger on top of the tofu.
5. Put some dried chive flowers on top of ginger.
6. Pour a smidgen of soy sauce on top of it.

1、豆腐を洗って2等分する。
2、小さな器に入れる。(湯豆腐の場合は電子レンジで40−50秒くらい温める)
3、しょうがを細長くきざむ。
4、しょうがを豆腐の上にのせる。
5、ドライチャイブをしょうがの上にのせる。
6、しょうゆを少しかける。

Put dried chive into a colourful jar. Use it for salad toppings or something!

残りのドライチャイブはカラフルな容器に入れて保管します。サラダのトッピングなどに使用します!
