My favorite Olympics memory was when my youngest daughter was born in '08, those Olympics were so much fun to watch. However, she would cry, as babies do, but, if we put her down on the floor with Gymnastics on the screen, she would stop crying and stare at it! As she got older she actually did competitive gymnastics for awhile, the link will always get me. 
The other memory comes from the Winter Olympics when they were held in China, and they stated that drinking was not allowed at some venues. The Canadian Curling team stated that how were they supposed to play without drinking, it was not fair that they take that away! One of the best articles on the Olympics I came across!
Downside no pictures, but great memories that will stick with me!
