Sammi jo and I are rarely, if ever, far from each other. Here, let me snap a photo as I sit on the sundeck typing this sentence... Yes, she has her own chair. LoL

We enjoy reading about how others lives have been changed by their furry friends. 

We have rescued over thirty cats/kittens in distress. Several dogs and a few birds since Samantha Jo entered our lives. We have always been animal friendly and raised many Siberian Huskies over the years.

this made me smile bro. Love it. I am trying to talk @millycf1976 into letting us get a cat on our next adventure. @diveratt quite rightly suggested getting one thats been rescued and needs a home. @millycf1976 loves cats so I think she'll only need to get taken to the cat rescue place and how can you not save one?

Ahhh, yes. A cat rescue/adoption site is just the ticket. 

She would make a great cat momma. 

Cat Daddy advice. Do not keep the first one you see or pick up and hold. 

A kitten/cat will choose you. It is mostly body language. A look, a gesture. You will know it when you see it/feel it. 

@pooky-jax (my wife Kelly) knew that look and feeling when we rescued our 2nd kit. And what a great rescue he is!

That sounds like the best advice ever.

My Mum has many cats and they have a great bond with her. They all love her.
If I visit for an extended period, some of the cats will like me and show their affection, a different kind of respect to that of my Mum. They mainly appreciate that I feed them regular meals. 
However, there was one little cat that really gravitated to me. 
She was caring and friendly. 
Everyday, several times throughout the day, she'd run down the hallway to my bedroom, say hello, stay for a few minutes and then run away. I got so accustomed to it :)
There were about 7 cats, and that's when I discovered that they all have different personalities :) They do make great company!
