 Hello everyone. Yesterday me and my wife took my son to admit at the hospital, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. Our son admitted in the hospital alone. Me and my wife went to Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province and stayed overnight here yesterday. This morning we went to visit and make merit at a temple in Phitsanulok province as the first place for this trip. The temple we went to is called Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple or the name of Yai Temple. Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple is located at 92/3 Phuttha Bucha Road, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Phitsanulok District. Phitsanulok, Thailand. This temple is one of the most famous and ancient temples that are hundreds of years old in Phitsanulok and Thailand.    Brief history of Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple. Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple There is no clear evidence of when it was built, but this temple is assumed that it was built before the Sukhothai Empire. The Sukhothai Kingdom started around the year A.D. 1238 or 785 years ago.    Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple is a beautiful temple with many architecture and sculptures. And the highlight of Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple is one of the most beautiful Buddha images in Thailand. This buddha image is named Phra Buddha Chinnarat. Phra Buddha Chinnarat is the principal buddha image of this temple and is the revered image of many thai buddhists and famous. In addition, the sanctuary that enshrines Phra Buddha Chinnarat. This sanctuary is an old sanctuary built since the sukhothai kingdom period, over 700 years ago. And this sanctuary has been restored to be in good condition and beautiful until now.  Phra Buddha Chinnarat.   Within this temple there are sculptures, which are many beautiful buddha images. And today I took pictures of these beautiful buddha images and share photos for everyone to see for this post too.        Other areas within the Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan Temple also contain ancient sites that have not been restored too.    In addition, this temple also has the National Museum Phra Buddha Chinnarat within the area of this temple.     These are the stories and photographs of Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan.
