Where man-made, means made by a man.  (and woman-made by a woman)  And we see man-made on everything (housing, lighting, furniture, produce), and woman-made on basically only decorative items.

This is also an attack on the family to minimize the role of papa bear.IF THEY can eliminate the power of papa bear they can continue to eliminate the value of the family.  The 'It takes a village' people are part of this effort.   In the 1950's FATHER KNOW'S BEST was the mentality. In the 1970's it was the Mary Tyler Moore / Helen Reddy  Idea of I am woman.   Today we have added the neutralizing factor with the transsexuals and every other combination. We are so afraid to offend. Political correctness is a weapon of the socialists. As a Purdue engineering graduate, I am disturbed that more and more the university is straying from its roots in agriculture and engineering.  I hope and pray the "cradle of astronauts" does not join most other universities in their fantasy world of SJW/faux feminist alternative reality.  Want to raise the status of women? Get an engineering degree and/or raise decent children and/or teach kids to read the classics...not this ridiculous war against the English language.

In the last proposal I wrote, I have been asked to replace 'manpower' by the more politically correct wording 'human resources'. Although I understand the concern, I think this is not where we should fight first. 

In my opinion, we need to address the problem directly at its roots. It is sufficient to visit the toy department of any shop and compare the 'toys for boys' from the 'toys for girls' option. This actually also applies to clothes shop as well...
