I'm not "in-touch" with of much of the news, as I don't watch TV, read mainstream news sites, etc. But I heard of the ridiculous case of Youtube's Count Dankula from Facebook before I was away from posting for 2 days. I wanted to touch on this topic in case others aren't aware of it.

The Youtuber -- Count Dankula -- made a video of his girlfriends dog giving Nazi salutes in response to the phrase "gas the Jews". He has since been charged by Scottish Courts with a "hate crime", and is awaiting sentencing in April 2018. The judge believed the case of the prosecution, that Count Dankula was inciting racial hatred.

I think there is a lack of an ability to think and overall comprehension of the use of language forms in the power structure of society. "Justice" (or the lack thereof) is truly blind in this case. The judge and prosecutors aren't the first clueless people in this debacle, because the ADL is the invisible hand and power behind the visible court power.

The ADL, the so-called "anti-defamation league", likes to whip around it's powerful political influence, and saw fit to do so with this Youtuber. Apparently, this video was too much of an offense for the ADL to let slide.

Satirically mocking a group like the Nazis can't be done if you repeat a phrase that is used by neo-Nazis or the like. You can't make fun of them by saying "gas the Jews". You can't even say something that you don't believe in, just to make a point. Freedom of speech isn't freedom of speech. Count Dankula doesn't even ascribe to the desire of that phrase, but he is being treated as if he does. Rather than let someone be free to use a phrase that demonstrates the absurdity of the position they are mocking, some people want to lock them up.

Hate speech laws are idiotic, running counter to a free society, but in line with despotic authoritarian control system, like the one in question (Nazism) being mocked. Nazi Germany is where you would think someone would being locked up for making fun of Nazis, and that is wouldn't be happening in the year 2018. But, we are in a twilight zone of unreal bullshit, of politically correct, post modern, socialistic, SJW and subjectivist degradation of society and the ability to think properly.

Who is really being offended in the mocking of Nazis? Nazis! Not Jews. Mocking Nazis using the term "gas the Jews" isn't offensive to Jews. It's not calling on people to gas the Jews. No one who would actually want to gas the Jews would want to use this video to incite hatred and get Jews gassed. Those people are the ones being mocked and ridiculed. They wouldn't use a video that offends them to support their deluded cause.

What we have are people who don't get the joke, take it seriously, and make it a crime to make fun of Nazis lest the message be misinterpreted. What about all the movies that repeat the actions and phrases of hate in past historical times? Wouldn't those movies being inciting hatred of some kind towards a group, and be guilty of a "hate crime"?

The context of the phrase in the video, and the intent of it being made -- what the purpose actually is (to mock Nazis) -- doesn't matter. Just ignore reality, and get one more person into a jail cell that gets paid for by tax payers, when that person didn't harm anyone, and wasn't calling for anyone to be harmed either.

It was a joke, satire... a cute dog reacting to a horrible phrase was the joke. It's a mockery of Nazis and offensive to them, not to Jews. But the "brain-dead" employees of the legal system are "by the book" and operate purely by the "letter of the law" that they can't even think straight! They just follow the orders and procedures they have. Who cares about stopping actual wrongs... No, instead of stopping wrongs in society they have to go and create more wrongs and injustice through a so-called "justice" system...

That's the sad joke in all of this, the legal system and society that can't think properly. Many seem to be turning into robots who are unthinking, unconscious and automatically follow the rules and procedures of blind fools in authority. Blind obedience to authority is not a virtue, but a sad state of mind to be in. The abuse of authority by those in power seems to escape the employees of the legal system, as they overreach into people's lives just like Nazis did.
