*Steem *was* a great platform. I'm not going to touch upon the intricacies of what made it great or how crazy the demise of the platform was.*

The time has come to let it go for me.

I'm sure that you're well aware of this tool but in case you've been living under a rock like me, here it is:

@engrave has made a great tool to "prune" your old posts and redirect the posts to your Hive blog. There was also the choice to write, "Fuck Justin Sun", which I think is a nice touch. I encourage everyone to give it a try.

Within a couple of minutes all of my posts were pruned away from the Steem blockchain. You can still see them on the original chain but all posts were updated appropriately.

I started my last powerdown on Steem as well.

As excited as I ever was to start my account on Steem, I feel greater excitement for Hive. 

Sorry Steem, it's not me, it's you. It's been real. It's been fun, but at times it hasn't been real fun.

I peep hive-now and hivesupply to keep up with some metrics. Seeing the numbers really fires up my gaming sense of things. I’m bugging a friend to see if they can come up with a nice tool for HIVE, but I don’t think you missed much.
