I remember that 10 years ago, theories about the end of the world, the destruction of the planet and the extinction of human life became very famous; those were the days when allegories were heard, messengers of old prophecies that indicated, in the best of cases, changes in the course of our destiny as a world. And among the accumulation of movies that were released at that time, there was one that attracted my attention; its name "Prometheus" by the great British director Ridley Scott.

In particular, although it is a film that anyone can see, the ideal for people who want to look for the sense (which is somewhat convoluted), is that they have seen first, the previous films about Alien. It is normal that such an important expedition, has the ideal members in the team; first we have the doctors Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green); who signed the discovery and guide the team with the objective of the mission; but it is also important to highlight that all that technology is possible in the year 2093, date in which the crew arrives at the desired destination, in the confines of the galaxy. So if you like plots with spaceships, this is a good option.

It turns out that the trips through the cosmos are very long and usually, humans are kept in a kind of cooling chamber, to avoid the famous relativity of time. In this case, the android is named David and is played magnificently by (Michael Fassbender).

In general terms, I have rated this film as positive, besides the fact that it continues to show that natural instinct of survival that we humans have, that when faced with an extreme situation, we do not hesitate to do whatever we have to do, either to survive or to save the lives of the inhabitants of the planet. I am also well aware that no one would ever replace Lieutenant Ellen Ripley, but Dr. Elizabeth Shaw, fulfills the role of bravery and courage that was entrusted to her (in my opinion).

This movie has a lot more than it delivers, besides seeing regular guys showing he has the balls to make drastic decisions in the interest of preserving life on Earth. However, the climax is simply spectacular, including a clash with Honor and Glory! Finding the meaning of life is perhaps simpler than it seems, although it's a subject that many people are passionate about and sleep deprived of. After all, something I could not have hoped for, was such a riveting ending in which faith could keep us hopeful; and above all with another promise of a next installment, though that is another story.
