>The resurrection of Jesus from the dead stands.
 

It is a reality not a story. It was a unique event and nothing like it has happened to anyone else before. Christ resurrection is both a central affirmation of faith for Christians and the greatest stumbling block for unbelievers, a source of profound comfort to some and intense irritation to others.


Both physical and spiritual resurrections are to be known only in Christ. It is by association with Him that we have hope of life hereafter. The resurrection of Christ didn’t happen just to comfort us in the now but to also give us the hope of existence in eternity. See 1 Cor. 15:19. The life existing in Him and passing from Him to all believers is the cause and sure principle of all resurrections.


Those who believe in Him receive a life that never dies. So the dead will live again and the living will never die. See John 11:25-26.


This study will help us to see what the resurrection of Christ did for our restoration.
Thus, He is both the resurrection and the life.



### Study Point:
1.	### Ponder for a moment what Christ gave up and what we obtained.
Image what could have happened if we were to implement the entire gifts of redemption that Christ paid for on our behalf. He sacrificed greatly so that we might enjoy the following gifts: Isa 52:2-13; 53:12.
Now let’s take a deep look at the things Christ had to suffer on our behalf to grant us freedom and liberty.

2.	### The result of the resurrection of Christ![Capture.JPG]
Christ resurrection is a fundamental truth of the Christian faith and history meaning that without the resurrection of Christ there would have been nothing like the Christian faith and mans faith in God would have been subjected to an illusion or an abstract thing holding it proof to nothing. Christianity remains a religion like none other because it is a life flowing from a higher man (Christ) into a lower man (Human). Now resurrection is what it is because of the life that flows from Christ to us as a result of His resurrection. See 1Cor.15:17.


By the resurrection of Christ, He brought resurrection to all. 
Take note when Adam sinned, the pronouncement was … “thou shall surely die” (Gen 2:17) so death passed on from him to all his seed. “For as in Adam all die….. (1Cor. 15:22) that is to say, that the whole of mankind through the dead Adam created passes by death into Hades, the realm of the dead.


In Adam, there is no resurrection from the dead, but in Christ all mankind, good and bad, righteous and wicked all are called out of death. Since Christ had paid the price for Adam’s transgressions, those who would be partakers of death through sin, will do so as a consequence of their rejection of Christ as the light and salvation He offers in the gospel. Now note this no human will be a partaker of the second death because of Adam’s transgression who is in Christ.


>Believing that Christ died and resurrected on the third day is history but believing that He died for you is salvation. 
Take advantage of the cross work of Christ and live will become easy for you.
