Last part of the story told about Lake Louise and driving to the Banff. Now I want to tell you more about Banff town itself.  There are some "must visit" points there. But I can't resist not to share this photo first. Banff is super beautiful! Am I repeating myself? =)  The first one, which you definitely has to see is the "Cave and Basin National Historic Site" (natural thermal mineral springs around which Canada's first national park, Banff National Park, was established).  Many years ago people were allowed to swim in the Basin. Now it's prohibited, because of the Banff Springs snail, listed as an endangered species in 2000 by the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada, are living there.  This place is a great spot to know more about the history and make some lovely photos.  After visiting Cave and Basin, we decided to enjoy Lake Minnewanka (below).  While driving we met wildlife.  Lake Minnewanka is also one of the beautiful lakes in Alberta (max. depth 142 m (466 ft)) is translated as "Water of the Spirits" in Nakoda.  Waters and rivers of Cascade Mountain are feeding the lake. Archaeologists say that aboriginal people live here as early as 10,000 years ago.
