This week's theme at PlayerHive continues with our literary adventure of creating our video game characters. Now, after the protagonist and antagonist, it's time to create an NPC who, although they may not have the limelight or be a crucial part of the adventure's development, can still play an important role and make them a memorable character. For this occasion, continuing with my adventure of an average and unexpected protagonist, alongside an antagonist who ends up being the hero, I want to create an NPC somewhat inspired by the famous merchant from Resident Evil 4, at least slightly in his physical appearance, but with an ability to manipulate the video game itself beyond what is expected of a simple NPC.

My character's name would be Agil Pool, a reference to one of the arms dealers in the anime SAO, and his surname would be a slight clue to his special abilities. First, I want to mention what his role would be in the video game and how he would help us in our adventure. In a world that is slowly being consumed by darkness, he would be a traveling salesman with a clear mercenary appearance, hinting at his talent. As a mercenary salesman, he would wander the world at his own pace, so we wouldn't always be able to find him in the same place, and likewise, he wouldn't always have the same inventory available to sell us.

His inventory would range from the most basic items such as healing items, weapons, and armor parts, to magical items, cursed weapons, and items that could be incredibly useful in the adventure and make the game easier. Although his inventory may vary randomly and be affected by your progress in the adventure, it would also be influenced by your actions or morals in the adventure. If you have decided to play as an evil character, it will be more difficult for you to find powerful items to cause damage and even items that reduce your health in exchange for destroying your enemies. Agil would realize what kind of character you are and would sell you the most dangerous items or those with dark energy.

The most interesting and undoubtedly most memorable aspect of Agil would be his ability to break the fourth wall if he sees you having problems in the adventure. If you find it difficult to advance or are dying too often, he will start teasing you about it while offering you healing items more often. Similarly, if you get stuck with a particular boss or area and die many times without advancing, he will offer you a secret to solve your problem. This secret would be to tell you about a bug to overcome those bosses or areas, Unlike other titles where gamers manage to discover bugs even by accident, here Agil would tell you all the game bugs, which walls you can go through, from which parts you can drop down to get off the map and move around the environment, and other aspects that can make overcoming each difficult point relatively easy, but only if you have already died a lot of times before.

As for Agil's appearance, he is tall, with dark red hair and a large build, an appearance that recalls his past as a mercenary when he fought against all odds to earn a living. Now, faced with an almost imminent end due to the darkness, he is selling the treasures he has acquired from each of his adventures. He wears some parts of his armor, such as shoulder pads and wrist guards, He also has two short swords at his waist. Although he is a seller, he is still a great warrior. He also wears a long tunic with an antique look, torn from battles but at the same time containing the blood of his enemies. He is a character who, when you first see him in the adventure, you think he is a difficult boss to defeat or a character who will entrust you with very complicated missions.

Since he cannot magically carry all his merchandise with him at all times, Agil has a pet that helps him carry everything: a horse with long, grayish fur, bearing wounds from the battles in which it accompanied Agil. It has some pieces of old leather armor, and tied to each side of the horse are two large, somewhat dirty cloth sacks where all the merchandise is always kept together without risk of being damaged by any blows. Agil is a somewhat secondary NPC; his actions do not directly interfere with the development of the adventure, and you could even complete it without buying any items, but he will undoubtedly be of great help when you need him and, if necessary, he will even teach you how to take advantage of the flaws in his own digital world to help you complete your mission.

<summary>Prompt Used</summary><p>
1. A large, tall video game character with a muscular build and scars that suggest he is an ancient mercenary. He has long, dark red hair tied back, and wears worn-out clothing in reddish and black tones. The character has partial armor on his forearms and some areas of his body, resembling typical male armor. He has two short swords sheathed at his waist. He is wearing a thick, long coat that looks somewhat deteriorated, stained with dirt, resembling a heavy overcoat with animal fur trim. The coat has a hood but is not buttoned or closed over the chest. The overall appearance is rugged, with a worn, battle-hardened look.
2. Now place that character next to a table in the middle of a stone street and place several colored potions, swords, and spears on the table.
3. Now place that character sitting on a rock with a desolate, destroyed-looking meadow in the background. The character is laughing at you.
4. Now place that character walking through a destroyed city with a ruined castle in the background, accompanied by a majestic horse with dark gray, slightly dirty fur, wearing leather armor and carrying two cloth sacks tied to each side of the horse.
5. Now place the two characters walking in the distance through a valley with ruins all around them. The man is wearing a hood over his head.

</div>

<center>
*Image Created With AI*</center>
