Escaping from the Witch of Nowhere House. A dark and entertaining journey. [eng/esp]
*Hello gamer friends of HIVE!*

I am happy to be here and start this journey of a new stage of my life. For my first formal post here on the platform, I chose to start with a gaming theme. I honestly prefer to play mobile versions, it seems more comfortable and simple in terms of user interface and gameplay.

I also tell you that I prefer games in a softer and calmer way, such as mystery solving games, riddles, word formation and some other retro type games. As for the shooting games that require very fast coordination, I feel that I am not skilled at all, rather: **Manca**. For this reason, I avoid them and thus I do not spend penalties.

For this post, I present to you a game called: *Nowhere House*, created by **Dark Dome**.

The game tells the story that once in that town called Hidden Town, there was an evil witch. She was persecuted and hunted by the people of the town, pushing the evil of the witch to manifest itself in the form of a spell. The witch, she expressed that her physical form will no longer be seen, but nevertheless she will take the souls of the people who come near what was her house. With that said, he mysteriously disappears and magical things happen to anyone who comes near the house. Today the house still stands on the lonely site on the hill, but rumors say that people who enter it disappear.

 After this, you are inserted into the character of Adria, who together with a couple of friends visits the Witch's house. Mysteriously, only Adria can see that there are objects in the house, while her friends only see an empty space. The young people turn around, but Adria in her eyes disappears; but the truth is that the girl is trapped in the haunted house. Adria, see the furniture, the pictures, the shop windows and the door firmly sealed. Now, how will she get out of there?

To get out of the haunted house, Adria will have to go through the entire site gradually. The clues will be provided little by little, and it is a matter of solving the puzzles. She confessed that some solutions are quite complicated, or at least fry the neurons for a while. The clues are based on the objects provided by the game, the player must find a logical side to this to create solutions. A remarkable fact as to why this game is quite good from my point of view, is that honestly it does make sense. That is, the solutions follow a continuous line of uniform and even solution. Meanwhile, I have had experience in other games of this puzzle type niche and really the solutions are sometimes not homogeneous, they make jumps that would not make sense in any way, a fact that discourages the player.

Some of these characters will ask you to do certain activities for them, which in turn leads you to get involved in more puzzles. An example of this, I can point out that the lady with gypsy characteristics will ask you to get the cat from her. While the Wizard, she will ask you to find her hat. Obviously to get them, you have to solve some problems first, but the one with the cat is really funny, with a can of tuna she appears!

Within the game you will also find various scenarios, relevant hook objects that add a little more "suspense" to the story. The truth is that this type of game with such quality in terms of plot development and usability care ends up being very addictive. It is difficult to explain through a publication all the emotions and entertainment that the game brings. Here, I show you some of the objects found as part of the setting. Nowhere House is part of one of the macro chapters that make up a saga of games related to the term paranormal. This online game is so addictive that in a couple of days I finished playing all the game versions from the same company. I even stopped doing other things, to decipher the riddles. I didn't even have a nap time, just to spend that time playing 😂. The end is even more sudden, but in order not to ruin such a moment, I better not say the solution. In my place, I could not solve it at first, I could only say: Be attentive!

*¡Hola amigos gamers de HIVE!*

Me contenta estar aquí e iniciar este recorrido de una nueva etapa de mi vida. Para mi primera publicación formal aquí en la plataforma, elegí iniciar con una temática de juegos. Sinceramente prefiero jugar versiones móviles, me parece más cómodo y sencillo en cuanto a interfaz de usuario y jugabilidad se refiere.

También les cuento que prefiero juegos de un modo más suave y calmado, tal cual como los juegos de resolución de misterios, acertijos, formación de palabras y uno que otros juegos tipo retro. En cuanto a los juego de disparo que ameritan de muy rápida coordinación, siento que no soy nada hábil, más bien: **Manca**. Por ello, los evito y así no paso penas.

El juego cuenta la historia de que una vez en aquel pueblo llamado Hidden Town, existía una bruja malvada. Ella, fue perseguida y cazada por las personas del pueblo, empujando a que la maldad de la bruja se manifestara en forma de hechizo. La bruja, expresó que su forma física no será más vista, más sin embargo tomará las almas de las personas que se acerquen a lo que era su casa. Dicho esto, misteriosamente desaparece y cosas mágicas suceden con cualquier persona que se acerque a la casa. En la actualidad la casa sigue en el sitio solitario de la colina, pero rumores afirman que se desaparecen las personas que se adentran en ella.

Al momento de ingresar en la interfaz puedes configurar idiomas, sonido, velocidad de lectura y autograbación. También se indica una guía rápida de como funciona la recolección de objetos que el personaje encontrará a medida que la trama avanza.

 Después de esto, se te inserta en el personaje de Adria, quien en conjunto de un par de amistades visita la casa de la Bruja. Misteriosamente, solo Adria puede ver que hay objetos en casa, mientras que sus amistades solo ven un sitio vacío. Los jóvenes se dan la vuelta, pero Adria a sus ojos desaparece; pero la verdad es que la chica queda atrapada en la casa encantada. Adria, ve los muebles, los cuadros, escaparates y la puerta firmemente sellada. Ahora, ¿Cómo saldrá de allí?

Para salir de la casa encantada, Adria tendrá que realizar un recorrido por todo el sitio de manera gradual. Las pistas serán proporcionadas poco a poco, y es cuestión de resolver los acertijos. Les confieso que algunas soluciones son bastante complicadas, o al menos se fríe un rato las neuronas. Las pistas se basan de acuerdo a los objetos que te proporciona el juego, el jugador debe conseguirle un lado lógico a esto para crear soluciones. Un hecho notable de porque este juego es bastante bueno desde mi pensar, es porque sinceramente si tiene lógica. Es decir, las soluciones siguen una línea continua de solución uniforme y pareja. Mientras, que he tenido experiencia en otros juegos de este nicho tipo puzle y realmente las soluciones a veces no son homogéneas, dan saltos que de ninguna forma tendrían lógica, hecho que desanima al jugador.

A medida de que se avanza en el juego, nos encontraremos con direntes personajes, como aquellos que se encuentran atrapados en cuadros. Cada cuadro, acompañado de un personaje, se encuentra versado en un "mundo" o sección de habitación perteneciente a la casa.

Algunos de estos personajes te pedirán que hagas determinadas actividades por ellos, que a la vez te llevan a involucrarte en más acertijos. Un ejemplo de esto, puedo señalar que la dama con características gitana te pedirá que consigas su gato. Mientras que el Mago, te pedirá buscarle su sombrero. Obviamente para conseguirlos, debes resolver algunas problemáticas antes, pero la del gato si que es jocosa, con ¡una lata de atún aparece!.

Dentro del juego también encontrarás escenarios diversos, objetos relevantes de enganche que le ponen un poco más de "suspenso" a la historia. La verdad que este tipo de juego con tanta calidad en cuanto a desarrollo de la trama y cuidado de usabilidad, termina siendo muy adictivo. Es complicado explicarle mediante una publicación todo el rollo de emociones y entretenimiento que aporta el juego. Aquí, les enseño algunos de los objetos que se encuentran como parte de la ambientación. Es un punto bien llamativo, todo parece estar plasmado con aires góticos que a la vez dan más empuje al escenario.

Nowhere House forma parte de uno de los capítulos macro que componen una saga de juegos relacionados al término paranormal. Esta línea de juego es tan adictivo que en un par de días terminé de jugar todas las versiones de juego de la misma compañía. Dejé de hasta hacer otras cosas, por descifrar los acertijos. Ni momento de siesta tuve, por solo invertir ese tiempo jugando 😂. El final es más aún repentino, pero para no arruinar semejante momento, mejor no diré la solución. En mi lugar, no pude resolverlo a la primera, sólo podría decir: ¡Estar atentos!

Espero que mi reseña y opinión les sea útil al momento de decidir para elegir un juego, sinceramente pienso que no se arrepentirán.

Yes, it really is very interesting. In itself the setting, including the sound, gives a gloomy touch to the development. I had prepared a short video to show the interface and some of the game scenarios, however my resources are very few and it could not be published, despite the delegations of friends.

Many things about HIVE are new to me, but I'm slowly learning there.

Le apoyo totalmente, algunas veces los acertijos de algunos juegos son totalmente descabellados, y piensa uno, ¿cómo se supone que esto sea una solución lógica?. Por otra parte, hay unos juegos de disparos lentos, como los de sigilo, allí no tendría usted problemas de seguro, y algunos incluso necesitan resolver acertijos, como portal, tal vez le gusten.

Si, a veces abusan en cuanto a la lógica, que en realidad es inexistente. Yo pensaba que eran disparates míos, 😂 o que no tenía lógica. Y tendré que buscar de estos tipos de juegos, lo más de disparos que he jugado hasta ahora es el olvidado Duck Hunt 🤣

Hace mucho que no lo oía nombrar, pase buenos momentos con ese juego.  Hay juegos en que se puede ir con relativa calma, y son los que más busco. No soy fan de pasarme corriendo todo el nivel, para terminar primero. Y en los de acertijos, una buena cantidad, tiene una lógica más o menos razonable, pero algunas veces atraviesan unas soluciones que no imagino que sentido o razonamiento usaron para hacerla.
