ecotrain Question Of The Week #26: 5 positive consequences of COVID19

I am quite sure that we are living in a better world nowdays because the earth is passing through a decontamination of many noxious agents because of the rest we gave to many things like excesive quantities of cars in the streats and motorways, plane trips, ship trips etc. I want to think that there are positive things because Covid19, but reflecting on that I think the things we are doing because of pandemic times are part of our daily life, and we stopped doing them because we had the excuse we didn't have time or we forgot to take care of nature. This difficult time have made us meditate and reflect a lot. We had to take some decisions according to the restricted laws imposed to us about our behaviour to protect our lives.

I decided to assume the walks I used to take, but know I stop to admire my surroundings and see how beautiful nature is. I saw people are gardening more than before, and I felt so happy to see the houses full of flowers and beautiful plants decorated in such a way that made me think that people are waiting with faith for this situation to end up.

I think nature has answered us with its behaviour. The sky is cleaner in many countries in the world where you stopped watching the stars. I love to contemplate the sky at night but I had a long time without seeing the stars. This week we could count the constellations, even though we could see Venus just on top of my house. I am sad I didn't have the way to take pictures to remember this moment.

Pople are becoming more aware of the importance of having a natural syle of living. I have learn more about plants and their curative power than before because we need to be prepare to look for their properties to use them in case we don't have at hand the medicines bought in pharmacy. I have learn how to prepare natural teas to fight Covid19 and many people has survived thanks to them because in my country the cost of medicines is too high.

I think that one of the incredible positive things we are learning is that we realize that we could use social medias to study, communicate with family and to work. At home we are 9 people and only one goes out to work, the rest stays at home working in businesses that pay in virtual coins. To stay at home without doing nothing is incomprehensible. People need to buy food, clothe, medicines, pay services etc. About education I realize that now parents can dedicate more time to children at home, and they can realize how deficient they are in their studies.

People are cultivating some fruits and vegetables at home because they have the time to do it and doing that they are eating healthier products from earth. At home we are cultivating some small plants and vegetables.

I know everything will come back to normal and the saddest thing is that may be we didn't learn the lesson, and we will behave as always. I hope we will llearn the lesson as individuals and as family because society not always care about nature and healthy behaviours.
