Holii, bienvenidos de nuevo, hoy les traigo mi primer blog, es nada más y nada menos que de la historia de mi Ñeñito. La manera de cómo él llegó a mi vida es muy simple, la verdad, pero eso no disminuye el gran impacto que ha tenido él en mi vida.

Todo empezó a mediados de febrero de 2020, cuando empecé a notar que la gata de la casa, que se llamaba Borbón, estaba panzona; asumí que estaba embarazada pero la verdad no le presté nada de atención debido a que no era la primera vez y todos sus partos han tenido finales fatales, la mayoría de sus bebés nacían muertos o muy débiles, al punto que ella se los comía. La primera semana de marzo; para ser más específicos, el 6 de marzo, que es mi cumpleaños, vi a Borbón parir, pero como dije anteriormente, no le di mucha atención porque podía predecir que iba a pasar con esos bebés.

Pasaron las semanas, los meses de hecho y no se sabía nada de dichos bebés, a lo que creí confirmar lo que desde el principio pensé, pero ¡oh vaya, que sorpresa! Una noche escuché unos súper maullidos extremadamente agudos que venían de un rincón del patio de la casa, al asomarme no pude ver nada así que decidí esperar a la mañana; cuando me desperté lo primero que vi fue dos cositas negras en el piso, eran extremadamente pequeñas, salí y les puse una cajita con pedazos de tela para que tuvieran donde refugiarse en las noches y cuando lloviera, porque al estar tan pequeños no debía tocarlos todavía

One night I heard some extremely high pitched super meows coming from a corner of the backyard, when I looked out I could not see anything so I decided to wait until morning; when I woke up the first thing I saw was two little black things on the floor, they were extremely small, I went out and put them a little box with pieces of cloth so they would have somewhere to shelter at night and when it rained, because being so small I should not touch them yet.

Pasaron unas semanitas y ya empezaron a destetar, así que ya podía mirarlos mejor; no sé realmente si es porque soy una persona extremadamente emocional y sensible, o simplemente fueron tonterías mías; pero desde el primer momento que yo vi a ese par de gaticos con carita de murciélagos supe que me cambiarían mucho la vida. Recuerdo que todos me decían que los diera en adopción debido a que mi situación no era nada estable para esa época, pero no, me opuse totalmente porque sinceramente me encariñé demasiado con ellos desde que los vi y no pude imaginar ya no tenerlos.

Son hembra y macho, a la hembra la llamamos María Antonia, por María Antonia de Austria debido a que a mi pareja de ese entonces le gusta mucho la historia y casi todas sus mascotas llevan nombre de personajes históricos; al macho yo lo nombré Rhaegar Alejandro, esto es porque soy muy fan de la serie Game Of Thrones y simpatizó bastante con la casa Targaryen, la historia de amor de Rhaegar Targaryen y Lyanna Stark fue mi favorita de toda la serie, así que decidí ponerle ese nombre; el Alejandro es por la canción de Lady Gaga que lleva ese mismo nombre, luego hablaré de mi historia y fascinación por Lady Gaga.

María Antonia siempre fue muy arisca, ella muy poco se deja acariciar, de hecho, no recuerdo haberla escuchado ronronear nunca; en cambio Rhaegar siempre fue muy dado, pero conmigo específicamente, él dormía solo conmigo, donde estuviese yo él igual y cosas así; así que ese vínculo y conexión que tuvimos desde el primer momento se empezó a fortalecer muchísimo y sé que, como dicen muchos, “<strong>es solo un gato</strong>” pero yo a ellos, pero más a él lo veo como mis hijos.

Al ser el primer y único parto que Borbón tuvo exitoso, los ñiños (como yo los llamo) no nacieron del todo bien, sobre todo Rhaegar, él presentó muchos problemas, tanto de estreñimiento como respiratorios, así como una flacura extrema; como mi situación no era estable, como les comenté anteriormente, no podía llevarlos al veterinario a que los chequearan, llegué a un punto que de verdad consideré darlos en adopción, aunque la simple idea me dolía muchísimo. Me las ingenié para mantenerlos sanos y fuertes, vivíamos en una casa en una montaña, tenían demasiados espacios abiertos donde ser libres, eran felices cazando y jugando

En agosto de ese año yo terminé mi relación con el que era mi pareja y me tuve que ir de esa casa, mejor dicho, tuve que <strong>HUIR </strong>de esa casa y cómo fue una huida muy tormentosa no tuve la oportunidad de llevarme a los ñiños, tuve que pasar dos horribles meses negociando con mi ex pareja para que por lo menos me diera a Rhaegar y no quiso, sabía que él era mi punto débil por donde me podía lastimar. Yo nunca me rindo fácil, así que empecé a mover cartas en el asunto y busqué a una persona que me pudiese llevar hasta allá para poder rescatar a mi hijo; básicamente fue una misión rescate.

27 de octubre de 2020, el día que atravesé media Caracas, para no decir que la atravesé completamente de punta a punta, para rescatar a mi hijo de un lugar dónde lo habían amenazado de muerte. No les pudiera expresar con palabras lo que yo sentí desde la noche anterior, sin poder dormir, hasta el momento exacto que mi hijo cruzó la puerta de mi casa; la adrenalina, miedo, nervios, rabia, dolor, felicidad y exaltación que recorría mi cuerpo haría que en cualquier momento explotara.

Les cuento, un amigo de mi mamá se ofreció a llevarme en moto hasta allá, me pareció una locura, pero él entendió la gravedad del asunto y le estaré eternamente agradecida por ayudarme; teníamos que ir temprano debido a que mi ex pareja trabajaba ese día y la casa estaría sola, fuimos y el viaje fue horrible para mí, los nervios de que él estuviese ahí cuando llegara me mataban, no me dejaban respirar. Llegamos e hice todo casi que a la velocidad de la luz, tanto que tengo borroso cómo hice las cosas, solo sé que agarré al Ñeñe, lo metí en su bolsito y corriendo para la moto de nuevo; rescate exitoso, aunque no podía cantar victoria hasta que llegara de nuevo a mi casa; el viaje de regreso fue mucho más tranquilo para mí, aunque mi preocupación era que el Ñeñe estuviera tranquilo, hasta que al fin pude decir “<strong>estamos en casa</strong>”

A friend of my mom's offered to take me there by motorcycle, I thought it was crazy, but he understood the seriousness of the matter and I will be eternally grateful to him for helping me; we had to go early because my ex-partner was working that day and the house would be alone, we went and the trip was horrible for me, the nerves that he would be there when I arrived killed me, they did not let me breathe. We arrived and I did everything almost at the speed of light, so much that I have blurred how I did things, I only know that I took the Ñeñe, put him in his bag and ran for the bike again; successful rescue, although I could not sing victory until I arrived back to my house; the return trip was much calmer for me, although my concern was that the Ñeñe was calm, until finally I could say "<strong>we are home</strong>".

Cruzar esa puerta fue como, si alguien con una grúa, me quitara de encima 800 kilos, nunca había sentido tanta felicidad como ese día sinceramente. El Ñeñe al principio estaba súper nervioso y desconcertado, pero la verdad se adaptó demasiado rápido; yo estaba muy preocupada porque en casa ya había una perrita, mi sobrina Haylie, no sabía cómo sería ese proceso, pero la verdad fue muy exitoso.

Es curioso que las personas no puedan entender el vínculo tan estrecho que se puede crear con un animal, independientemente de la especie, las personas creen que esa clase de vínculo afectivo solo se puede tener entre seres humanos, por la tonta creencia que somos seres superiores; el que nos conoce se sorprende del nivel de conexión que Rhaegar y yo tenemos, básicamente es el de una madre con su hijo, la diferencia es que ni él habla y que es de otra especie a la mía, pero él me presta atención o viene cuando lo llamo, me hace caso si lo regaño, me recibe cuando llego del trabajo, si estoy triste él viene a mí y no me deja sola, si yo no estoy en la casa él se va a explorar y divertirse, pero si estoy, de mi lado no lo saca nadie; no importa dónde esté, qué esté haciendo, él es como mi sombra

Gracias a él, mi mundo se estabilizó muchísimo, es una cosa que simplemente no puedo explicar, creo que solo las personas que tienen mascotas pueden entender. Sé que los traumas y problemas emocionales se deben arreglar yendo a terapia y recibir ayuda profesional, pero una gran parte de mi evolución emocional y mi estabilidad es gracias a él; de verdad invito a todo el que me esté leyendo que adopten, que rescaten, que le den una oportunidad de ser queridos, amados y protegidos a unos seres que les aseguro, solo le traerán cosas positivas a su vida; las mascotas son algo más que unos simples animales en nuestras casas, son nuestros hijos, nuestros compañeros y eso es algo que debemos empezar a valorar muchísimo.
