New RPG style browsergame on Steem It can be very addictive.

The developers of this great game @thebluewin, @auminda, @xyrijan are a great team of very capable professionals and of good receptivity, I have no doubt to continue supporting this type of projects that are always contributing something positive within our Steem platform Blockchain

The pre-registration to Holybread is already open there are more than 500 users. The game will start on January 27, [pre-register now to receive a special gift](https://www.holybread.io/?ref=project.hope)



Everyone who made up the @project.hope team had the honor of being invited by the creators of @holybread to participate in the beta tests, these took place over several weeks where we could play and test the game's behavior in real time; in this way doing testing to inform the developers and they correct the possible setbacks and visual details of the game.


I must clarify that currently the server is in countdown and the first hero auction is held.
Best of all it is free you should not pay for subscription or something similar, you just have to have a Steemit account to start a section with a friend's reference, you can use the following:

There will be three rounds of auctions In every auction round there are 2 legendary and 4 epic heroes. The official server launch will be on Monday, January 27, 2020. Auction round # 1 has freshly started and the first bids are submited.

Just an FYI: it seems that the option to log in with Keychain isn't working. I click and nothing happens. However, logging in with SteemConnect seems fine.  Imma wait until Keychain is up and running. 😍

I was able to successfully log in with Keychain yesterday!

But as explained before... I clicked and nothing happened... it was like the button for Keychain just wasn't connecting. I logged out, and back in a few hours later and tried again... worked perfectly.

I'm guessing... IF it was on my end, it could have been my VPN. I find that's been messing with blockchain stuff and just have to turn it off. I honestly can't remember if I had it on initially or not... but all is well now.

## Also!
I'd LOVE to join your discord (for HolyBread)... but the only link above (which doesn't actually say it goes to HolyBread, but is implied) doesn't work (says Invalid Invite)... and all the other links point to ProjectHope.

I'm not sure we have ANY other Discord servers in common... so we wouldn't be able to connect yet anyway.

If you find a link to the HolyBread Discord tag me here again! I'll come play!

Thanks for the head up. But I'm not a friend of games where you can buy or trade _heroes_.

More importantly I don't think those games deserve to be in the RPG category. RPG stands for **“Role Playing Game”** — A game where you play the role of a hero. Where you decide if you want to play that hero good or evil, lawful or chaotic.  Where you make decision which reflect on the character and skills of your hero.

A predefined, ready to use hero you can buy, trade and collect is not a role you play. That hero is just a commodity. I consider using category RPG this type of game false advertising.

Don't get me wrong. Each to himself. If you like this kind game I wish you all the enjoyment you can have. I just wish they would not call it RPG.

While it's hard to tell what "exploring the world of Holybread"[*](https://steemit.com/holybread/@holybread/holybread-or-new-rpg-style-browsergame-on-steem-release-in-january-2020) means from the text introductions, is it?

I like the play with family names and how the name stays after selling.[*](https://www.holybread.io/faq/) Don't know if this means more names are added when a "slave hero" is sold some like in Spanish name conventions or whether it only shows what "families" did originally "find" those "heros" for making slaves of them.

I do hope it's not just a TCG but truly some RPG with decision making influences other then trading and collecting. By now the FAQ on Gameplay[*](https://www.holybread.io/faq/) just read like a colosseum arena "role" play.
