The following publication is due to a question asked by my friend Piotr,  my answer.



### Life is full of learning that we acquire every day in each of the things we do, so we are always learning.

#

The public and autonomous universities in Venezuela are submerged in a deterioration and a state of abandonment as a result of the current crisis, due to the suffocation that the government applies to it with the budget cut, the university is very alone because its main engine is the students, There are fewer and fewer students due to university drop-out motivated to the problems of the country and many professors every day resign more to be able to flee the country where and look for better opportunities.

The students submerged in the crisis leave the careers, few reach the degree, studying in Venezuela now is very difficult, there are many factors transport, food and study materials that can no longer sustain.

#


Nothing easy for us professor earning one of the worst lowest salaries in history and that is why many retire in search of other means to survive; However, here we are a group that still stand betting on university and education.

My job is as a professor of the Government Accounting Chair of the eighth semester of the Public Accounting career and despite a very, very low salary, here I am giving my best effort to push forward many young people who believe in their own future by training as professionals to achieve a university degree.

As I do my job, with many deficiencies at the structural level and without material resources, I only contribute my knowledge, my dedication and commitment to what I do. I briefly describe the classroom: it has no lighting, therefore you can only teach during the day, it has no doors or windows because they were stolen, just some classrooms have desks but no chairs for teachers, very deteriorated walls and apart Very dirty, because cleaning the classrooms is almost not done (there is a workforce, does not fulfill its function), there are still few desks but at least the students can sit. As a teacher I do not have the necessary materials to teach the class accordingly, simple whiteboard markers I do not have nor can afford them.

 No, unfortunately the university is not well in terms of its physical and financial structure, so that affects our work in the university in many ways.
#

But of something if I am totally sure.
If I,  really enjoy my work of teaching, knowing that I am doing something for another from my university teaching perspective, where I am very clear that knowledge is universal and that it must be shared with everyone, where I am contributing to society


#

When I am in the classroom teaching my class lessons, I am very proud to know that young people always come to me to ask for more information on some subject that was mentioned in the class, that desire to want to learn more, is a motivation that makes me follow forward in the midst of all the adversities I have as a professor in this country.

#### If it is my turn to be born again and I must choose to be what I was in this life, I am very sure that I would again choose to be a professor enjoying teaching others.
