1.0 Background of the Context

Organisational sustainability can be said to be a systematic concept or approach implored by an organization to keep a standard in their business which provides them with economic and organization culture benefits.

The above definition states what the ethical practice should be but many companies or organizations overlooks it and call in on maximizing its profits which staffs,environment and its host communities suffers.

Many companies understands the need of individual talent and the right of staff relationship. This will not only help the organization to achieve its growth in productivity/sales but will equally maintain the staffs high level of productivity.

1.1 Statement of the problem

One of the major problem or concern faced among the host community and organization can further be illustrated using the oil spillage in the Niger Delta coast region of Nigeria.

According to record report of 2011, it was gathered that more than 1000sq kilometer was polluted within the Ogoni community making it uninhabitable and the cost of cleaning the damage was estimated to be about $1b or above,while it will be taking about 30yrs to handle.

Many oil companies sites in these area forgot that socially responsible brings a good image that will further increase customers patronage.

Some of these organization focus on the strategy to maximize their profit and overlook the relationship between the host community and most of it all suffers their own very staff.

They fail to realize that they cannot just exist in the air,but needs a host community to function. Most of these oil companies place their gain first,ignoring the health of the host community,forgetting they will have no place to operate.
The leaders have the will power to correct most of these forbidden treatment by the companies but due to corruption that have eaten dip the fabric of the country, happens to be the major problem the people are facing.

2.0 Review of literature

Gathering my conclusion on this topic,i have to look back on the topic and definition of ethical practices.

Ethics simply means character or a set of moral behavior and the ability to choose between right and wrong.
This is to say that ethical practices on the said problem in Niger Delta area should be that the oil companies in that area should bring unity and harmony co-existance between them and their host community.

Conclusion/summary 

That is to say if they have given an immediate attention to the problems of the oil spillage, the crisis of the militancy wouldn't have been,destructions and death toll wouldn't have equally existed. This single act of i don't care attitude of the companies on the host communities equally affected the production and profits of the companies.
