<center>By observing our body and how it was designed we can realize that we are made to constantly change; However, in the Christian life, change is very difficult. Perhaps it is because when we discover a method, a form in the practice of faith that manifests the power of God, we no longer want to change.

The Bible compares us to a body in church functioning. In childhood we enjoy games and entertainment all the time but, as we grow, responsibilities multiply. The apostle Paul says: "when I was a child I thought as a child ..." what can be said that change is not only external, but also thought. That is what the Kingdom of heaven is about, a change of principles that is necessary to operate in it.
The Bible says: So Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went to Haran. And he came to a certain place, and slept there, because the sun had already set; and he took from the stones of that place and put at his head, and lay down in that place. And he dreamed: and, behold, a ladder that was resting on the ground, and its end touched in heaven; and there are angels of God who went up and down by it. And behold, Jehovah was on high above it, who said: I am Jehovah, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac; I will give you and your descendants the land you are lying on. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west, to the east, to the north and to the south; and all the families of the earth will be blessed in you and in your seed. Behold, I am with you, and I will keep you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land; because I will not leave you until I have done what I have told you. Genesis 28: 10-15 (King James Version)
Jacob knew of his prophetic future and took it into his hands to manipulate him, he did not know how to wait, in his flight he had a dream on the part of Jehovah in which he is announced that God is going to treat him (verse 15). The Lord has to transform us to administer the things of the Kingdom; otherwise, we will access responsibilities without the necessary maturity.
Genesis 29: 14 = And Laban said to him, Surely my bone and my flesh are you. And he was with him for a month. When he arrives in Padan-Aram he meets someone like him, someone manipulative. There he suffers Laban's tricks, changes his salary ten times, cheats him and gives Lea instead of Raquel, forcing him to work another seven years for Raquel. He had begun the treatment that the Lord had promised him. It is that the Lord needs us to change our way of thinking, to trust in his promises, in his expertise to accomplish things through us. The Lord had promised Abraham that his seed would be so much that it could not be counted, he reminded it to Jacob at the demonstration in Bethel.
And Jacob called the name of that place, Peniel; for he said: I saw God face to face, and my soul was delivered. Genesis 32:30 (VRV'60) The man has an encounter with the angel of Jehovah maintaining a struggle with him, he asks for blessing, he fights for it, he receives it, but his transformation is also completed. His name is changed, his way of walking. The expression "face to face" means that God would speak to him without hiding anything from him, he would not see things half-way; now he would have absolute clarity in the revelation of God's purpose.
After Jacob came safely to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padan-aram; and he camped in front of the city. And he bought a part of the field, where he pitched his tent, from the hand of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem, for a hundred coins. And there he built an altar, and called it El-Elohe-Israel. Genesis 33: 18-20 (VRV'60) He has already been transformed, he already experienced the change and "arrived safe and sound". Change, mobilization, transformation does not kill anyone. I buy the land; the Jacob we knew would have manipulated the situation to keep the land without paying any price. But now it operates with other principles.
It is never too late to be transformed by the power of God; perhaps until now we have not dared to wait for the time of God, perhaps we hope in what we can produce with our strength. God has a purpose with our life and he will not abandon us, we just have to wait for the concretion time ...
"... because I will not leave you until I have done what I have told you."
