Whether you're boosting "on-the-go" through the Facebook Pages Manager app or initiating the campaign from the desktop, we'll go over both methods in this lesson.

The key to getting your saved audiences to populate properly is FIRST to scroll to the very bottom and change the ad account from your 'personal' to the Business Manager account. Many artists forget to do this first (because it's at the bottom), but it is essential in this process - so don't forget!

We'll also go over how to include an existing Instagram post within this campaign. Keep in mind, that Facebook limits your campaign to $1/day per ad set (and we're using one ad set for Facebook). If you add an Instagram ad set as well, you'll need to change your campaign budget to at least $2/day.


Sometimes, you'll want to stack that "social proof" before everybody sees a post, but you don't want to spend a ton of money on it. Green Light Warmth Boosting to the rescue!

In this lesson, we touch on how to create that post in Business Manager, run it as an ad and then publish it with all the likes and comments to the rest of the world. This is a great opportunity for you to reach out to the warmest of the warm so those rabid fans can show everyone else how excited they are, right at the moment the post is published


Even though we call this strategy "Green Light Warmth Boosting" it is not restricted to the boost button. It is, essentially, an education and nurturing solution to help round out your Buddy System. Its purpose is to raise engagement on your content with the people who matter most, as well as give Facebook some indications of who in that audience is eligible for more organic content.

Green Light Warmth Boosting will help you reach the best audience at a low budget. Be sure not to include any cold traffic in these campaigns - that's not the purpose of this strategy. The "Warmth" part of this name is key.

There may be times where other objectives besides "engagement" may serve your purposes, but be very careful with this! Always opt for engagement first until you have more experience running campaigns; it is a more advanced skill to understand how these objectives can achieve what you're seeking to accomplish.
