I think there's something extremely fulfilling about starting a project that you enjoy and finishing it.

The daily routine that life demands (eating, showering, working) means that sometimes you need that one spark to break out of the usual.

That spark can be a creative project in a field that you've always wanted to enter.

You don't have to be hard on yourself either. Start with one thing you can do today. A Step 1 you can take right away.  Here's an example: Learning how to Code.

Give yourself a goal or a task that you want to complete by the end to test your proficiency. 

Here's how you could break it down.

Day 1:

1) Decide which coding language you want to learn.
2) Drag your ass to the computer and find a site that teaches you how to code that language for free. Say it's Javascript for example.
3) Watch the first video on Javascript.
4) Watch the second.

How long did this whole process take? Probably 20-30 minutes. In our heads, it sounds so much more difficult. We invent excuses. The reality is always so different from our thoughts. You most likely enjoyed learning in those 30 minutes too.

Now that you enjoyed your first day of learning, do it again tomorrow. You're working towards a concrete goal.

In the end, that project may just change your life. Maybe you want to pursue coding now. 

You would never have known if you didn't start your project in the first place.
