<p><center>Research on the strength of spider silk has been at work for several years. But the silk of this spider in particular, seems to be promising. Indeed, from the memory of man, it's difficult to find a material as thin and light having such a high resistance !<br> For these reasons, this type of silk could have great utility in aerospace constructions. But not only, there is also great potential for other utilities, including military issues. As for example the bullet proof vest, often very heavy, which could be greatly improved. <p> However, the persistent problem is the difficulty and expensive costs of an industrial production, whether it's natural or synthetic silk.</center>
