Since I discovered that if we buy our plane tickets well in advance we can get quite competitive prices, this is the first option I have in mind if it is a question of making a trip a little far. And the fact is that I always had the impression that flying was something for people with a lot of money, something very exclusive for that social class and a service that could hardly be used by the rest of the people. But currently in Argentina we have some low-cost airlines that almost compete in value with long-distance buses, offering a faster alternative to reach your destination and a unique experience for the flight itself ❣️.

Of course, in my case I am lucky enough to be able to travel any day since my schedules are quite flexible, so as soon as I see a cheap ticket within my travel budget I don't doubt it much. This is exactly how the walk we did with my friend Sofia in March came about, because I saw a good price on the internet, I told her about the idea and she immediately joined the plan. As I always say, the first step for a trip to materialize is to buy the ticket: the rest is resolved later 😅.

One of the low cost airlines operating in Argentina is called "Flybondi". This name at first caused a bit of humor because here "bondi" we say to the bus, and the idea of ​​a "flying bus" perhaps did not seem very serious. But over time this company earned its good reputation and today they offer such good prices that their demand is quite high. In addition, they fly to almost all airports in the country, so it is a good alternative to the main (and most expensive) airline company here: Aerolineas Argentinas ⭐️.

Returning to the trip, that day I had received an offer for a ticket to Trelew in the province of Chubut. I had never been to Trelew, I didn't even know what was there, but for only 8000 ARS (40 USD) we could have round trip tickets so we did some research and said "we'll be there". This really was an incredible price since the other airline was more than double at that time, but it should be noted that we purchased this ticket more than a month before the date of the trip ❣️.

After a few days, the short trip to Trelew became the plan for a whole tour around that area that included various bus trips to get from here to there. The good thing is that today on the Internet there is all the necessary information and opinions of other travelers to go anywhere, so we left home with the whole itinerary in mind 😃.

Regarding the flight, as our intention was to save money, we only chose to carry hand luggage so as not to pay any extra, so all my luggage for 6 days had to fit in this small backpack. Flybondi only allows one small 6kg bag, and since I didn't know at the time how strict they were about that, I was worried about my excess baggage until the last minute (and in the end they didn't even weigh my backpack) 😂.

Our trip started very early in the morning from the Jorge Newbery Airport in the City of Buenos Aires, so that day we didn't even sleep, a little because of the excitement and another because we left everything to the last minute. The trip was quite good, honestly I have already flown with Aerolineas Argentinas and the only difference I saw with this Low Cost is that perhaps the plane is somewhat smaller, but then in terms of punctuality and professionalism of the employees, everything was excellent. It even seemed to me that we paid very cheaply for how good everything was 😅.

It only took us 1.45 hours to travel more than 1300 km, much less time than it took me to go from my house to the airport by public transport. When we arrived in Trelew I was able to take a deep breath for being there and for being able to say that this spontaneous trip was already being materialized. We had to take a taxi from there to the center to buy our ticket for the next stop on the trip ❤️.

We spent some time resting and sunbathing in a square, with all our luggage and looking like full-tourists. A few days later they told us that this square is quite dangerous and that many robberies take place there, so I was glad that nothing happened to us because we were even with our cell phones in hand and money very exposed 😂.

The other day I saw an image on the Internet that said "get used to things going well for you" and that's exactly how it was with this: the cheap tickets, the trip without problems and a friend who is turned on by all the spontaneous ideas. This was just the beginning of everything we had said we were going to do, and as a spoiler I can say that everything went according to plan: thank you Universe ❤️.
