As the vaccination progresses in Argentina, I can't help but get excited about the illusion that everything will return a little to normal and we can live as before. I love walks and trips, but in the current situation it is difficult because this virus is unpredictable and nobody wants to get sick while away from home. Fortunately, at the beginning of the year, when there was a downward trend in cases of Coronavirus, tourism was enabled and my friend and I were able to take a somewhat improvised trip through our country. This led us to the city of Merlo, in San Luis, Argentina ❤️.

Every time I go on a trip I confirm that my country has some beautiful places. In April, after taking a <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@lauramica/argentina-zipline-day-at-the-mirador-del-sol-in-merlo-san-luis-dia-de-tirolesa-en-el-mirador-del-sol-en-merlo-san-luis">zipline ride</a>, we continued our walk through the Merlo area until we reached a nearby river, called Pasos Malos. I would like to know the reason for this particular name 😅.

This river was a really quiet place. The water flow was quite fast but not deep at all. To cross, you had to be careful not to slip. As you can see, everything was full of white rocks and some of them had verdigris.

The most beautiful thing about this river is that its water was completely crystal clear. At first, getting your feet wet was a bit difficult because it was completely freezing and even though it was still sunny, you didn't stop feeling cold.

Our dog companion didn't want to get his paws wet one bit. He had to be carried like a baby to the other side of the river. I wish someone had carried me too 😂.

After getting used to the frozen water, we got halfway up. The courage only reached us for that and for the photo. Without a doubt a beautiful place that deserves to be remembered. Luckily, the day had been beautiful and we drink "mates" all afternoon until the sun went down and the cold brought us back to our lodging 😅.

Por suerte, el día había estado hermoso y tomamos mates toda la tarde hasta que bajó el sol y el frío nos devolvió a nuestro hospedaje 😅.</em>

I'm increasingly convinced that domestic tourism is what I love to do. I hope that when the pandemic ends, or at least the health situation has improved, it will be possible to travel again. I think there are still many beautiful places where I should be, and I will be there ❤️!
