<strong>Hello friends of Hive & Needle Work Monday.</strong> Happy Monday to all of us, a new week has started and I hope you are full of energy. This week we are all in a good mood in Argentina because an extra long weekend awaits us that many will take advantage of to travel or rest. At the moment I don't have any plan, but if you propose one I won't hesitate to accept. Meanwhile, today I want to share with you the last sewing project I've been working on. <strong>It's a garment that I needed and that at this height of life it was strange that I did not have: an all black and opaque bra 😅.</strong>

Por el momento no tengo ningún plan, pero si me proponen alguno no dudaré en aceptar. Mientras tanto, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el último proyecto de costura en el que estuve trabajando. <strong>Se trata de una prenda que necesitaba y que a estar altura de la vida era raro que no tuviera: un corpiño todo negro y opaco 😅.</strong>

When it comes to lingerie, I really like working with lace fabrics and transparencies. I love these fabrics because they result in very delicate and sensual garments. The previous outfit I worked on was <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-127911/@lauramica/needle-work-monday-gray-and-black-lingerie-set-poorly-cut-fabric-but-it-still-worked-conjunto-de-lenceria-gris-y-negro-con-la">black and gray cotton</a>, comfortable for everyday wear but not neutral enough to wear on any occasion. That's why I decided to make a completely black bra, which would also work well with some of the sheer clothes I like to wear when I go out at night. Combined with this shirt for example, the bra looks like this ❤️.

<blockquote>Cuando de lencería se trata, me gusta mucho trabajar con telas de encaje y transparencias. Estas telas me encantan porque dan como resultados prendas muy delicadas y sensuales. El anterior conjunto en el que trabajé era <a href="https://peakd.com/hive-127911/@lauramica/needle-work-monday-gray-and-black-lingerie-set-poorly-cut-fabric-but-it-still-worked-conjunto-de-lenceria-gris-y-negro-con-la">de algodón gris y negro</a>, cómodo para usar a diario pero, no lo suficientemente neutral para usar en cualquier ocasión. Es por eso que decidí hacer un corpiño completamente negro, que también me sirviera para usar con algunas de las prendas transparentes que me gusta usar cuando salgo de noche. Combinado con esta remera por ejemplo, el corpiño se ve así ❤️.

I had started this project several days ago, with the idea that from a piece of stretchy black fabric I would obtain a bodice with fabric on the back. At that time, she had advanced with the half of the bodice, sewing and elasticizing a cup with its corresponding part of the back. Then I just got bored and as usual put the project off for a few days 😅.

<blockquote>Había empezado este proyecto hace varios días atrás, con la idea de que a partir de un retazo de tela negra elastizada obtuviera un corpiño con tela en la espalda. En ese momento, había avanzado con la mitad del corpiño, cosiendo y elastizando una copa con su correspodiente parte de la espalda. Luego simplemente me aburrí y como de costumbre, postergué el proyecto unos cuantos días 😅.

When the sewing inspiration finally came back to me and I wanted to resume the project, I realized that the other piece of fabric on the back had been lost. I looked for it for a long time and everywhere, assuming that someone mistook it (or I mistook it myself) for a piece of useless cloth. But there was no case, I did not find it. Unfortunately, as the piece of this fabric was very small, I no longer had space to cut a new piece and this forced me to have to undo the stitching and only have the front cups 😔.

<blockquote>Cuando finalmente la inspiración de costura volvió a mí y quise retomar el proyecto, me dí cuenta de que la otra pieza de tela en la espalda se me había extraviado. La busqué por un buen rato y por todas partes, suponiendo que alguien lo confundió (o yo misma lo confundí) con un trozo de tela inservible. Pero no hubo caso, no lo encontré. Desafortunadamente, como el retazo de esta tela era muy pequeño, ya no tuve espacio para recortar una nueva pieza y esto me obligó a tener que descoser y quedarme solo con las copas del frente 😔.

It's not that I don't like this simple bralette style, but since I was planning to wear it with my sheer tops, I wanted it to have a little more fabric and not be so bare underneath. But fate wanted it that way and I had to continue with little material (once again). Now the back would only consist of elastic and a small 2 cm hook, which is not bad either but it differs from my initial plan 😅.

<blockquote>No es que este estilo de bralette simple no me guste, sino que como planeaba usarlo con mis remeras transparentes, quería que tenga un poco más de tela y no quedar tan desnuda debajo. Pero el destino lo quiso así y tuve que continuar con poco material (una vez más). Ahora la espalda solo estaría compuesta por elástico y un pequeño gancho de 2 cm, que no está mal tampoco pero difiere de mi plan inicial 😅.

Anyway, I went ahead and assembled the whole set, using my beautiful heart sliders. If you are wondering if they are about to end, the answer is no. I bought 100 units of them two years ago and I don't think I used even half of them. Also, every time a previous bra reaches the end of its useful life because the elastics are worn out or the stitching is too ripped, I take the entire garment apart to recover its metal parts. So with this method I almost never lose anything 😅.


<blockquote>Sea como sea, seguí adelante y ensamblé todo el conjunto, usando mis hermosas correderas de corazón. Si se preguntan si se me están por terminar, la respuesta es que no. Compré 100 unidades de ellas hace dos años y creo que no usé ni la mitad. Además, cada vez que algún corpiño anterior llega al fin de su vida útil porque los elásticos se gastan o se descose demasiado, desarmo toda la prenda para recuperar sus piezas metálicas. Así que con este método casi nunca pierdo nada 😅.

<strong>Finally, this is how the garment looks. Simple but beautiful. I think this is the second time I've made a black bra without see-throughs, but the last one was over a year ago and I think it's already been re-cycled. It was time to have a new one ❣️.

This is one of my favorite shirts to go out and until now I wore it with a simple bandage, a rectangle of black fabric without straps that protected my private parts :p Now that I have this coríño, I'm going to be more comfortable and if someone asks, I can brag that I did it myself 😇.

Now that the cold autumn is coming, I also have to wear a long-sleeved and completely transparent shirt. Of course this garment is not warm at all, it is for going out at night when you want to be covered but not so much. I thank my self these days for having prepared this bra to be able to wear it with it: <strong>now I just need to make myself want to go out at night if the temperature drops too much 😅.</strong>

<blockquote>Ahora que se acerca el frío otoño, también tengo para usar una remera de mangas largas y completamente transparente. Por supuesto esta prenda no es nada abrigada, es para salir de noche cuando querés estar cubierta pero no tanto. Agradezco a mi yo de estos días por haber preparado este corpiño para poder usarla con ella:<strong> ahora solo falta que me den ganas de salir de noche si la temperatura baja demasiado 😅.</strong>
