LBI's 1st polyCUB update report
Hello, LBIers. Easy post this week, let's look into our polyCUB holdings. Now, I can't remember exactly what I said I was going to transfer over from Cubfinance to polyCUB. I think I said I was going to move over our BTC/BNB LP into the BTC/ETH kingdom on polyCUB. Well, I did that but after about 24 hours I decided to move over anything that was not connected to bCUB because...well, massive APY's. What else? ๐Ÿค‘

Let's start out with Cubfinance and what we have left. Starting out with farms, we have our holdings in the CUB/BNB farm and we'll continue to hold these here. The DEC/USD was overlooked and I'll most likely dump this soon and switch over to polycub.

I've wiped out all our Kingdoms except for the CUB kingdom.

The plan going forward for Cubfinance will be to HODL this CUB LP and kingdom. Im guessing that future CUB airdrops will be based on CUB holdings same as the polyCUB one so holding CUB on each platform will grow bigger and bigger airdrop's as more CUB farms are released on different chains. As of now, we have just over 3000 bCUB tokens on BSC. 

Now let's look at polyCUB. It's been an amazing few days since it launched. I have us in farms, a few kingdoms and the XpolyCUB vault. Starting out on launch day, I took our BTC/BNB LP on BSC and switched it over to poly. From this and early harvests, I got us into the XpolyCUB vault. About a day after, I moved over our bLEO/BNB to pLEO/MATIC and then about 2 hours after that I wiped out the rest of our kingdoms (beltETH, beltUSD) on BSC into the BTC/ETH LP. Next up, we have our kingdoms. We have the BTC/ETH LP which I have mentioned and is funded from our CUBfinance holdings. The ETH/DAI LP below has been funded from harvests we've got. I have only really started to build this because up until 1-2 days ago I was claiming and putting harvests into the XpolyCUB vault. Going forward, I will continue to claim harvests and grow this ETH/DAI LP token until i think we have enough and then maybe switch over the stable kingdom to build up some there.

Lastly, we have the XpolyCUB vault which is new for us. I was able to get us 50 of these before the price got expensive, i think the highest i paid for any was around 3 polyCUB each so in terms of polyCUB, we're way up and there will be no plans to exit this ever. As with our bCUB LP and kingdom on BSC, this XpolyCUB vault will act as our HODL cub for the Poly chain. Our 50 xPC is currently worth 368 polyCUB and it's still growing. There are a few days left before the first block reward drop takes place so the XpolyCUB price increase will slow down but over time, this could be 20 polyCUB per xPC token giving us 1000 polyCUB's.

Thoughts on the price of polyCUB. To be honest, I had higher hopes and its quick decline to around $1 at the time of writing is madness and i little surprising. It took bCUB 2-3 months to drop $1 if my memory is right so to drop to $1 in under a week from launch is not good. I dont see this going back up again, it might jump to $1.50 are something but the $3 days are gone. I saw the decreasing inflation (rewards) charts and that's cool but with decreasing inflation comes declining APY's until people move on to the next thing. It's nice to be positive but everything has 2 sides and I see this as a flaw. All farming tokens in my POV will go down over time and I know this is a new concept that CUB thought up. I think as each new farm is released, upgrades will come upgrades from lessons learnt from the previous release and things will get better. I dont like to write things like declining inflation equals declining APY's until people move on but I dont see anyone else writing it so I have to call it as i see it.

Looking at it roughly, our total profits so far are $245 in the ETH/DAI kingdom and $395 in the XpolyCUB vault. This was alot higher a few days ago but there was something that happened that dropped the price of polyCUB. Something i spotted as an excellent way to make money 2 days before, like 12-15x in 2-3 days but it's something to need to do at launch. Anyways, im know Khal is aware and he never said, but im sure he'll close that loop for future CUB farms.

Yes, so total profits so far at $640 which is not bad considering the farm dapp says we've earned $542 and we dont have alot of assets off-chain. Someone suggested that we should talk about maybe converting some of our staked LEO into pLEO and using it to the farm to get a much better APY but im not sure if that would be popular among investors. Personally, I dont mind. The one thing I would say is that if LEO went from HIVE to Poly, the earning from it would not be included in weekly earnings. If you guys wanna talk about int the comments below, that would be cool and I'd get to see some feedback that helps me to understand what people want.

That's your update. I had planned to only do polyCUB but adding on CUBfinance was handy enough and it's sorta cool to see us involved with 2 CUB farms now. This will probably be your Thursday content for the next 2/3 weeks as we're doing well and I know token holders love to see numbers, holdings and how things are going.

Interesting. I say you just let it ride for a bit and see what happens. I didn't pull any of my holdings out of CUB.  I am hoping that maybe that will pick back up as new people start learning about the platforms.  We could eventually see a big boost in CUB price.  I guess we will see though.

I'd say if you holding on bCUB on non CUB, move them over and get the bigger rewards. I think people use chains like they use brands, they have a favourite and do 90% of everything on 1 chain. If i found polyCUB on dapprador and seen they had a BSC CUB version, i'd check it, see the APY's and head back to poly. lol

We'll see what happens with polyCUB. LBI is invested so we'll be part of it

Nice update, I went pretty hard at this farm and with almost all farms I end up feeling like it will take longer to play out than I initially intended. I had to ride my BiSwap play for 6 months for it to be a banger.  I was surprised with the drop in price in PolyCub as well.  I figured it would take longer for that type of drop to happen.

I was one of the people suggesting we might use some of the staked LEO in the LPs on CUB and PolyCUB.  I'm not sure that would be the greatest idea anymore.  lol  You are much better than I am at seeing the overall arc of how these things work so...whatever you think is best.

In theory, it would seem to make sense to capture some of the great APYs on both PolyCUB and CUB, but in practice, it certainly brings another whole level of risk.

I think doing it the way you're doing it with assets already outside the system is probably the best call.

I would suggest possibly holding onto the harvested CUB for a while to increase possible airdrops on future platforms.  But I probably wouldn't even start doing that until we know the viability of PolyCUB.  While I trust the mechanics of what Khal has built into the system, there's no substitute for operating in a true real-world market.  Real money will dictate whether this creation is sustainable and/or profitable.

In the meantime, we're still "Getting Rich Slowly...Fast" so nothing to complain about.

I would like to power some down but I think it would not be popular plus I'd need to find funds to match it off. If I powered down 20k LEO, I need whatever that is worth in MATIC. Yes, the risk of impermanent loss is always a factor with LP tokens. On bCUB, this has worked for us very well as BNB outperformed LEO and now we have lots more, the overall LP is worth lose in $ because LEO is down from when we invested but we have more LEO so the LBI price looks better. 

Getting rich slow is freaking hard!

Atm I am only farming with leo/matic. The rewards were smaller than xpoly but I knew the price would go down after 2-3 days and I would have missed the sweet spot because of work xD
If pcub stabilizes around $0.50-$1 it would be awesome. I sold my xpoly stack after 2/3 days and now is the time to hop back in. 

I would use some of the leo and add it to the pleo/matic pool. The rewards can be swapped for leo and matic for even more rewards. Even if the pcub price goes down our rewards are still safe in the leo-matic pool

Why not go into 1 of the kingdoms? I think BTC/ETH would be better than leo/matic long term but that's just me. 

I have no idea how low polyCUB will go, i think under $1 should be ok but i would not be surprised if it were 30 cent this time next week, remember APY's are gonna start dropping in 2 days because of the deflation thing.

I prefer matic atm because it offers 500% apr vs 300% apy xD if the ratio changes I can always switch but atm the farm is much better.

I still haven't dove into this whole Cub ecosystem enough to figure it all out.

I finally was ready to grab some polycub before but Polygon is having issues, so I can't deposit any funds there.

Ended up grabbing some Cub and putting it in the Cub Kingdom since it's pretty close to it's all time low anyway. 

Looking at the Cub chart, it looks like either Cub has a long way to go up, or polycub has a long way to go down.

Figured I'd grab the one that's already down a lot, and see how Polycub is looking when polygon starts working again.

I have to voice it, HIVE and LEO is full of fanboys scared of losing upvotes and looking non-positive. Thank you, i said to myself, if 1 person agrees are appreciates the info, it's worth it. 

I went balls deep personally as well but i only play have Kingdoms, been doing really well so far. I hope you've pumped your bags this week as well. 

As far as the price going down, i think, i pretty sure someone bought a bunch of polyCUB prelaunch for $1ish each and then staked them to XpolyCUB at launch when the price was 1 polyCUB. When the polyCUB token was at around $3.50 after 2-3 days and the XpolyCUB token was at around 4 polyCUB each, they cashed out their XpolyCUB token and cashed out the polyCUB tanking the price and making 12x on 2-3days. I saw this loophole myself around 24 hours after launch and was planning to do it myself on the next farm, baaaa-hahaha. It's dead easy to see, the price of polyCUB increase 300% and XpolyCUB 400%, you put 2+2 together. If i had been watching AMA's and reading the polyCUB posts, i would have seen this a mile off and im surprised only 1 person seen it. I know Khal is aware so hopefully, he'll close this off for the next farm.

Uggghh ... I have always despised this "gaming" aspect of my choosing to invest in this new digital asset class.  It always has a common feature.  Someone with the "skills" making money off of those who don't ... By "skirting around" the "rules" others are encouraged to follow ... And seeing nothing wrong with this ethically / morally ...

Now the bCUB price is down dramatical as well.
Seems some whale just bought CUB at low price before airdrop, earned quick pCUB at high price and now sold bCUB.
It's around ~50-70% in half month :)
