Lugar que se visita mediante una reunión que se realizo entre amigos el día viernes en la tarde, colocando como fecha de salida a la montaña el domingo en la mañana y regresar el lunes en la mañana, el tema surge por salir de la rutina diaria de mantenerse el domingo en casa "descansando" por eso se decide salir y conocer nuestros mismos paisajes de la ciudad, colocando dos lugares por escoger, páramo las coloradas o páramo el zumbador.

Se llega a la conclusión de la reunión y se decide conocer y visitar el páramo las coloradas nombre propio con el que se conoce ahora, su nombre nacional es el Parque Nacional General Juan Pablo Penaloza, sitio que se encuentra en Portachuelos vía Quiniquea o San Jose de Bolivar. Cerro o montaña que posee una altura de 3350 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

El camino posee un poco de desviaciones, por eso es importante ir con una persona experimentada sobre el cerro, clima que cuando comienza la caminata retorna con un sol brillante y fuertes vientos alternándose a medida que se iba subiendo con neblina y vegetación muy humedad, se hace una serie de paradas para descansar y tomar algún refrigerio llevado y también para lucir algunas fotos con respecto al paisaje.

Logrado el objetivo de subir a lo mas alto del cerro, después de caminar 5 horas con 10 minutos, se observa una laguna donde es el lugar mas apto para colocar nuestras carpas e instrumentos de dormir, laguna la cual se llama la Paujila, única laguna en estado impecable, es peri glaciar de tamaño pequeña, con un alrededor que brinda protección para tu noche ideal.

Tras pasar una noche fría, llega el momento de volver a bajar la montaña, pero sin antes tomar una foto junto a la cruz que fue siempre protectora durante todo el camino, posteriormente la bajada de la montaña es un poco complicada y ruda para las articulaciones y músculos puesto que la inclinaciones hacen trabajar mas el cuerpo. Por ultimo se tomo bus en el sector Sinaral, dejándonos cerca de la cuidad de San Cristobal y así terminar esta divertida experiencia. ¿lo volvería a hacer? SI por supuesto pero con personas mas experimentadas para mejores momentos en el lugar.
