We will discuss three perspectives to analyze the Ionian mode in the key of C. Ionian mode is more commonly understood as do, re, mi, fa so la, ti, do. But that is not a perspective we shall discuss beyond that comment. Instead the most important perspective we use is the interval perspective. The Ionian mode contains the intervals 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 1.

The other two perspectives we use are first just looking at the frets played with only the octives, 1/7 of the notes differentiated by a different coloration. The third perspective utilized is the fingering perspective that just gives you a fret and recommended fingering for playing the mode in reference in the key in reference.

We will go through the modes in C then the pentatonic in C. After completing that a video will be released, part C of section 2 one might taxonomy it as, which shall go more in depth of spacing and the relationship between the modes.
