Is quality the same as value? In a short term, both can be similar, but there are some differences.
 What is quality? 
> the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something

What is value? 
> the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something

A high quality product may have no value. Let's try to give a Rolex watch to a monkey. Rolex is a well known watch brand with high quality. However, the rolex has no value to the monkeys.

I will share my opinion in a simple way about how quality is not the same as value, but both will make something worthwhile. 

A business man who is wearing a perfect suit from a popular brand will get good respect in a business forum. The look will amaze the audience. Can you imagine what happened when one of the members of the forum said that the businessman was wearing a counterfeit product? I am sure that the counterfeit brand of clothes will degrade the personal value of the businessman in front of the forum. 

The illustration will be similar to hive blogging. When we bring something that has a high quality in the platform but the work is a copy and paste, the quality of posts that we bring will be degraded.  We bring no value to the platform. 

# Does this platform need value or quality?
The platform needs both. We need valuable content that is of high quality. How about low quality? The quality is sometimes ambiguous, but the most important thing is the originality. The curators in hive will judge you by our originality. They are the ones who decide the quality of our content in hive.  
Originality brings value to hive. The curators will rate our original posts. 
# I can not create high quality content. 

I think we do not have to worry about quality because the quality that we intend to produce does not always bring value to hive. What should we do is creating original post. There are some topics that we can choose. We can choose an easy topic with POBdaily. It talks about daily activities. We need to tell our daily routines with some photos. This kind of topic may not have any good quality for academic purposes, but it has value to the readers. We can learn a lot of things from daily posts that tell routines. We sometimes have a business idea from reading diary stories.
