Feliz inicio de semana, amigos creativos, que sea de muchas alegrías y bendiciones. Espero que estén desarrollando sus proyectos con entusiasmo. Yo he andado full ocupada en este #RetoDeCreacionDeContenido en el que estoy participando, contenta de que ya me falta poco para que termine el mes y con él, este reto, que además de cansancio, también se han venido muchas cosas buenas.

Hace unos días, al principio de este mes les estuve escribiendo sobre mi WIP, el cual se trataba de un pantalón corto que le estaba haciendo a mi hija Arianna y lo había dejado en el olvido, porque me dolían las manos y estaba esperando una máquina que me habían ofrecido. 

Bueno, aunque, me prestaron una máquina, este short lo estaba cociendo a mano y así mismo lo continué, ahora le muestro el proceso de terminación, ya que estaba bastante avanzado. Miren en este GIF como lo tenía.

La pretina (cintura) ya le faltaba muy poco por terminar, cuando se lo fui a medir a Arianna para cortar y ajustar la elástica, este le quedo muy justo, la cintura no iba a tener ese fruncido que le da una vista muy bonita al pantalón. La parte de las piernas le quedo también pequeño. Así que el paso del tiempo que estuvo guardado, hizo que ya no le quedara, estaba un poco triste por eso y quería que lo convirtiera en falda.  

Sin embargo, le dije que mejor se lo dejara su hermana Ambar y así fue, se lo medí a ella, corte la elástica, la cosí y procedí a cerrar la pretina, todo esto cosido a mano.

Luego comencé a coser los bolsillos, que ya los tenía basteado, para asegurar que no se me fueran a mover o salir de forma. Los bolsillos me parecen que quedaron muy bonitos.

Después para agarrar el ruedo del pantalón, con una plancha fui doblando dos veces la tela, para darle forma, le pasé una costura suelta y luego seguir con la costura punto de máquina, claro que a mano je, je, je.

Ya solo quedaba coser las entre piernas, en este punto ya estaba feliz de que por fin estuviera terminado, después de casi 2 años desde que lo empecé. Es un pantalón corto sencillo, cosido a mano, pero se ve bien bonito y cuando se lo medí a Ambar, se le ve un poco grande, al igual que la camisa que también cosí a mano, para que le hiciera juego.

Eso no me preocupa, siempre le he comprado su ropa más grande que su talla, así le duran más y este que es hecho por mí lo pueda disfrutar mucho más, ya que los que le hice cuando era recién nacida los disfruto poco, más fue el esfuerzo haciéndolo.

Ahora aquí ven a mi princesa modelando su conjunto hecho con amor por su mami, el cintillo que lleva en su cabeza también se lo hice cuando era pequeña. Les cuento que anoche cuando se lo medí, estaba practicando la pasarela de como lo iba a modelar, se miraba en el espejo con su mano en la cintura y la mirada pícara, si la vieran era toda una cosa preciosa, lo malo que la grabación salía muy oscura.

A few days ago, at the beginning of this month I was writing about my WIP, which was about a pair of shorts that I was making for my daughter Arianna and I had left it in oblivion, because my hands were hurting and I was waiting for a machine that I had been offered. 

Well, although, I borrowed a machine, this short I was making it by hand and so I continued it, now I show you the finishing process, as it was quite advanced. Look in this GIF how I had it.

The waistband was almost finished, when I went to Arianna to measure it to cut and adjust the elastic, it was very tight, the waist was not going to have that gathering that gives a very nice view to the pants. The leg part was also too small. So the passage of time that it was stored, made it no longer fit her, she was a little sad about that and wanted me to turn it into a skirt.  

However, I told her that her sister Ambar should have it and so it was, I measured it for her, cut the elastic, sewed it and proceeded to close the waistband, all sewed by hand.

Then I started sewing the pockets, which I had already basteado, to make sure they were not going to move or get out of shape. I think the pockets turned out very nice.

Then to hold the hem of the pants, with an iron I folded the fabric twice, to give it shape, I sewed a loose seam and then continue with the machine stitch seam, of course by hand heh, heh, heh.

At this point I was happy that it was finally finished, after almost 2 years since I started it. It is a simple shorts, hand sewn, but it looks very nice and when I measured it to Ambar, it looks a little big, just like the shirt that I also sewed by hand, to match it.

That doesn't worry me, I have always bought her clothes bigger than her size, so they last longer and this one is made by me so she can enjoy it much more, since the ones I made her when she was a newborn she enjoys them less, the more was the effort to make it.

Now here you see my princess modeling her outfit made with love by her mommy, the headband she wears on her head I also made for her when she was little. I tell you that last night when I measured it, she was practicing the runway of how she was going to model it, she was looking at herself in the mirror with her hand on her waist and the mischievous look, if you could see her she was a beautiful thing, the bad thing was that the recording came out very dark.

Esto está exageradamente hermoso, de verdad que yo felicito demasiado a las personas que tienen esta habilidad para las manualidades, porque yo podré ser artista pero en esta rama pierdo todos mis dotes y no logro hacer el trabajo como debe ser jajaja sin embargo, se ve como un trabajo hermoso, me encantaría poder confeccionar ropa para mí o al menos para mis bebes peludos jajaja sería genial.

Me encantaron las fotos de tu hija modelando tu creación, de verdad que se muy tierna y muy feliz, eso dice mucho de ti como madre también, esa proyección es magnífica, gracias de verdad por mantenerte activa, no solo por el reto, sino por demostrar tu valía como creadora de contenido.

Este reto me a motivado a escribir más rápido, he tenido tantas cosas que compartir, pero no me buscaba el tiempo para hacerlo. 

Muchas veces cuestionó mi contenido, pienso que no es nada del otro mundo; sin embargo, cuando recibo comentarios como estos, me digo, no lo estoy haciendo tan mal.

El esfuerzo ha valido la pena. 

Crear con las manos es algo que me apasiona, ojalá también pueda aprender muchas cosas de artistas como tú.  Claro no cantar, para eso se necesita talento y mucho práctica.

Amiga te quedo genial el conjunto entero porque ese top está espectacular!

Al final fue Ámbar la beneficiada jeje. Yo así a mano he hecho algunas cosas pero muy básicas.  Bueno tampoco es que yo haga cosas como esas!!

Gracias amiga, si Ambar estaba contenta y bueno Arianna se quedó un poco triste, pero luego le hago una a ella. 

Hasta la camisa que cuando se la hice, se la puso una sola vez, esperando el pantalón, ya no le queda jejeje. 

Es que esos muchachos crecen rápidamente. 

Por lo menos te defiendes con las costuras también amiga, hay personas que no saben ni ensaltar la aguja jejeje.
