Desde hace mucho tiempo vengo planteándome realizar lo que leen en el titulo de esta publicación, si, así es, cambiar de formato **“Salvaje a Moderno”**, pero, no es algo que realmente quisiera hacer, me siento cómodo jugando en “Salvaje” combinando en mi juego absolutamente todas las cartas existentes hasta la fecha, sin embargo, esto precisamente no me ha dejado crecer en el juego, no me ha hecho más competitivo y no puedo hacer frente en **“Torneos"** ni en los primeros lugares de la tabla clasificatoria de las liga que juego que, comúnmente es **“Oro”**, si es verdad que alquilando algunas cartas podría competir, pero no es mi estilo, practicamente mi mazo de cartas esta dividido en ambos formatos y la realidad es que debo cambiar hacia uno de los lados.
Estoy en el juego desde que inicio en el 2018, lamentablemente por algunas malas decisiones que tome en el 2019 hicieron que vendiera toda mi colección, que hoy por hoy si fuera mantenido mis cartas, quizás tuviera mas de 1.000.000 de poder de colección, pero la realidad es otra, en el 2020 volví al juego, compre algunas cartas, jugué de forma mas constante, me dedique mas a crecer en el juego y a partir de allí es lo que he construido hasta ahora, me considero que soy un buen jugador, he competido contra los mejores, en algunas partidas he ganado, en otras he perdido, pero me siento estancado, así que ha llegado la hora de hacer algo al respecto.

# ¿Por qué estoy tomando la decisión de cambiar de formato?

Parte del porque estoy tomando la decisión de cambiar de formato lo comente en la introducción de esta publicación, pero, las razones son muy claras, estoy estancado y necesito crecer en el juego para llegar hacer un mejor jugador de lo que soy ahora, si quiero competir por un puesto entre los primeros 20 mejores de cada liga, sea “Oro” o “Diamante” que es mi objetivo a mediano y largo plazo, necesito hacer cambios drásticos, no quisiera en realidad vender mis cartas del formato “Salvaje”, tengo una conexión con mis cartas que no estoy seguro de si podría explicarlo con palabras, esto es porque en un momento muy complicado en mi vida, mis cartas me ayudaron a generar los ingresos que necesitaba para salir de algunos problemas económicos que presente en determinado momento en el año 2020.
Pero todo en esta vida forma parte de un ciclo y creo que mis preciadas cartas que forman parte del formato “Salvaje”, ya cumplieron su objetivo en mis manos, ahora ha llegado el momento de despedirme de ellas, se que muchos dirán que no debería ser para tanto, pero, mas allá de su valor monetario, en realidad me ayudaron muchísimo, pero, tengo que ver hacia adelante y mejorar para poder apoyar de una manera mas eficiente a mi “Gremio”, así que, tomando esto en cuenta, mis objetivos mas cercanos son los siguientes:
> * **Mejorar mi mazo y todos los “Splinters”:** Esto es primordial para poder competir en todos los niveles máximos del juego, sigo creyendo que a pesar de que la economía del juego gira entorno a los tokens SPS, DEC y VOUCHER, en mi opinión, el bien mas preciado del juego son las “Cartas”, así que, como jugador, debo mejorar mis “Splinters” y actualmente no los tengo todos completos.

>* **Competir en los primeros ligares de las ligas:** Algo que he querido desde hace tiempo y que se que tengo el potencial como jugador para lograrlo, es competir en la tabla de clasificación en las ligas de “Oro” o “Diamante”. Soy un jugador constante en “Oro”, se muchas estrategias para triunfar en la misma, pero, parte de no poder llegar a los primeros ligares tiene mucho que ver con que mis “Splinters” están incompletos, ademas, debo alquilar cartas que, aunque no son muchas, representa un gasto constante, ya que mis recompensas las he estado acumulando por mucho tiempo.

> * **Competir en Torneos:** Me encanta competir y me frustra mucho el no poder participar en los torneos del juego y para poder tener un desempeño optimo en los mismos, debo mejorar mis cartas, quisiera ganar recompensas jugando torneos, así que, con estos cambios espero hacerlo.

# ¿Cuál es la situación actual de mi mazo de Cartas?

Como soy un jugador antiguo, mi mazo tiene cartas de ediciones pasadas con el marco de la edición “Beta”, pero, se dividen en “Rewards, Promo y el mismo Beta”, así que, se podría decir que tengo variedad, ahora bien, con respecto a las cartas del formato “Moderno” me di cuenta que tengo muchas más que del mismo formato “Salvaje”, es decir que, tengo un equilibrio, pero, la realidad es que no puedo fortalecerme en ambos, debo hacerlo con uno, por lo que la mejor opción por el costo de las cartas ahora mismo, es poco a poco ir fortaleciéndome en “Moderno”, hay mas cartas, son mas ediciones que de cierta manera las componen.
Pero, pensándolo bien, una mejor estrategia seria vender aquellas cartas que no veo utilidad en el campo de batalla o que no suelo utilizar con mucha frecuencia del formato “Salvaje” y poco a poco hacer una transición a “Moderno”, este será un poco lento, ya que no pienso regalar en precio a ninguna de mis cartas, pero es un comienzo y ya estaría trabajando en mejorar mi mazo que, es lo que realmente quiero hacer, es necesario, de hecho, en varios post que realice el año pasado, comente que estaba vendiendo algunas cartas legendarias de lamina de oro, con el objetivo de mejorar, pero, nadie estuvo realmente interesado en las mismas, así que, de igual forma, estaré colocándolas acá, por si alguien cambia de opinión y decide comprarlas.
## ***Así que, mi estrategia a seguir es la siguiente:***
> * **Vender cartas que no uso:** En este punto solo me enfocare en vender aquellas cartas del formato “Salvaje” que no utilizo y no son de utilidad para mi en el campo de batalla, así voy depurando mi mazo de las cartas que no me interesa tener y adquirir aquellas que si me gustan.

> * **Comprar cartas poco a poco:** Mientras varias cartas se vayan vendiendo en el mercado, inmediatamente buscare de comprar las cartas que necesito, enfocándome en el splinter que tengo mas completo, de esta forma iré completando mi mazo de cartas en el formato “Moderno”.

Ahora bien, con respecto al formato "Moderno", poseo actualmente muchas mas cartas en el mismo, esto debido a que el año pasado compraba cartas mas seguido, sin embargo, por algunas problemas deje de hacerlo, pero, con lo explicado anteriomente, espero completar mi mazo, igualmente, aquí dejo una captura igual de Splex.gg, donde, podran observar la cantidad de cartas en el formato "Moderno" y su valor promedio.

Con esto es suficiente para comenzar a realizar una transición al formato “Moderno”, se que es un proceso lento, pero lo que me importa ahora mismo es iniciar con esto, mientras más rápido mejor, así podre poco a poco comenzar a competir en las ligas clasificatorias y en los torneos.

# Consideraciones Finales

Se que este post no se trato de algún tipo de información que pudiera agregarles valor, aunque, de cierta manera puede que estas líneas les sirvan algunos jugadores que estén en mí misma situación o con mis dudas para poder mejorar en el juego, la idea es que, si poseen poco capital, como es mi caso, trabajen para poder enfocarse en un solo formato, esto para que compitan y poco a poco progresen para ser los mejores jugadores. No quiero que se enfoquen en las recompensas, aunque de cierta forma es importante, la idea es divertirse y tratar de ser el mejor, si se concentran en su juego, las recompensas vendrán solas.
Pero, a pesar de que las recompensas al final del día no tienen nada que ver con la jugabilidad y divertirse, hay que darle la importancia que se merece, ya que estamos invirtiendo tiempo en jugarlo; y en mi opinión el “Tiempo” es el activo más valioso que tenemos los eres humanos, así que, vale mucho, por lo que, si me concentro en mejorar mi mazo, mis recompensas mejoraran, será mas divertido competir y jugar, así que, esta es la razón para el cambio de formato y de mejorar mi mazo “Moderno” de las ediciones “Untamed, Dice, Chaos Legion y Riftwatchers”.

For a long time I have been thinking about doing what you read in the title of this publication, yes, that's right, changing from **"Wild to Modern "** format, but, it is not something I really want to do, I feel comfortable playing in "Wild" combining in my game absolutely all the existing cards to date, however, this has not let me grow in the game, it has not made me more competitive and I can not cope in **"Tournaments "** or in the top of the leaderboard of the league I play, which is commonly **"Gold "**, if it is true that renting some cards I could compete, but it is not my style, practically my deck of cards is divided in both formats and the reality is that I must change to one of the sides.

# Why am I making the decision to change format?

Part of the reason why I am making the decision to change format was mentioned in the introduction of this publication, but, the reasons are very clear, I am stagnant and I need to grow in the game to become a better player than I am now, if I want to compete for a place in the top 20 of each league, be it "Gold" or "Diamond" which is my medium and long term goal, I need to make drastic changes, I would not really want to sell my "Wild" format cards, I have a connection with my cards that I am not sure if I could explain it with words, this is because in a very complicated moment in my life, my cards helped me to generate the income I needed to get out of some economic problems that I presented at a certain moment in 2020.
But everything in this life is part of a cycle and I think that my precious cards that are part of the "Wild" format, already fulfilled their purpose in my hands, now it is time to say goodbye to them, I know that many will say that it should not be so much, but, beyond their monetary value, they really helped me a lot, but, I have to look forward and improve to support my "Guild" in a more efficient way, so, taking this into account, my nearest goals are the following:
> * **Improve my deck and all the Splinters:** This is paramount to be able to compete at all the top levels of the game, I still believe that although the economy of the game revolves around the SPS, DEC and VOUCHER tokens, in my opinion, the most precious asset of the game are the "Cards", so as a player, I must improve my "Splinters" and currently I do not have all of them complete.

>* **To compete in the first leagues of the leagues:** Something that I have wanted for a long time and that I know I have the potential as a player to achieve it, is to compete in the leaderboard in the "Gold" or "Diamond" leagues. I am a constant player in "Gold", I know many strategies to succeed in it, but, part of not being able to reach the first leagues has a lot to do with my "Splinters" being incomplete, besides, I must rent cards that, although they are not many, represent a constant expense, since I have been accumulating my rewards for a long time.

> * **Competing in Tournaments:** I love to compete and it frustrates me a lot not to be able to participate in the tournaments of the game and in order to have an optimal performance in the tournaments, I must improve my cards, I would like to win rewards playing tournaments, so, with these changes I hope to do it.

# What is the current status of my deck of cards?

As I am an old player, my deck has cards from past editions with the framework of the "Beta" edition, but, they are divided into "Rewards, Promo and the same Beta", so, you could say that I have variety, now well, with respect to the cards of the "Modern" format I realized that I have many more than the same format "Wild", that is to say, I have a balance, but, the reality is that I can't get stronger in both, I must do it with one, so the best option for the cost of the cards right now, is little by little to get stronger in "Modern", there are more cards, there are more editions that in a way compose them.
But, thinking about it, a better strategy would be to sell those cards that I don't see useful in the battlefield or that I don't use very often in the "Wild" format and little by little make a transition to "Modern", this will be a little slow, since I don't plan to give away in price any of my cards, but it is a start and I would already be working on improving my deck, in fact, in several posts I made last year, I commented that I was selling some gold foil legendary cards, with the objective of improving them, but, nobody was really interested in them, so, in the same way, I will be placing them here, in case someone changes their mind and decides to buy them.
## ***So, my strategy to follow is as follows:***
> * **Sell unused cards:** At this point I will only focus on selling those cards of the "Wild" format that I do not use and are of no use to me on the battlefield, so I will purge my deck of cards that I am not interested in having and acquire those that I do like.

> * **Buy cards little by little:** As various cards are sold on the market, I will immediately look to buy the cards I need, focusing on the splinter I have the most complete, thus completing my deck of cards in the "Modern" format.

This is enough to start making a transition to the "Modern" format, I know it is a slow process, but what matters to me right now is to start with this, the faster the better, so I can gradually begin to compete in the qualifying leagues and tournaments.

I know that this post is not about some kind of information that could add value, although, in a way these lines may be useful to some players who are in the same situation or with my doubts to improve in the game, the idea is that, if you have little capital, as in my case, work to focus on a single format, this to compete and gradually progress to be the best players. I don't want you to focus on the rewards, although in a way it is important, the idea is to have fun and try to be the best, if you focus on your game, the rewards will come by themselves.
But, even though the rewards at the end of the day have nothing to do with gameplay and having fun, you have to give it the importance it deserves, since we are investing time in playing it; and in my opinion "Time" is the most valuable asset we humans have, so, it is worth a lot, so, if I concentrate on improving my deck, my rewards will improve, it will be more fun to compete and play, so, this is the reason for the change of format and to improve my "Modern" deck of the "Untamed, Dice, Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers" editions.
