<div class="text-justify"><em>Welcome once again to another content of my authorship, today is something special because of the type of content I bring. For some time now I have been educating myself in the more technical side of PC computers, it has caught my attention the fact of being able to give one more chance to those PC computers that today are in the obsolete range, so to speak.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>I can say that here in Venezuela, unlike other countries, the use of computers of low resources is something common, so it is something normal to get computers like the one I will show you today.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>Sean bienvenidos una vez más a otro contenido de mi autoría, el día de hoy es algo especial por el tipo de contenido que traigo. Desde hace un tiempo he estado instruyéndome en la parte más técnica en cuanto a PC ordenador se refiere, me ha llamado la atención el hecho de poder darle una oportunidad más a esos PC ordenador que a día de hoy entran en ese Rango de Obsoletos por decirlo de algún modo.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>Puedo decir que aquí en Venezuela a diferencia de otros países, el uso de computadoras de bajos recursos es algo común, así que es algo normal conseguir ordenadores como el que les mostraré hoy.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>Este CPU lo tenía un amigo en total abandono, cuando lo vi me dio curiosidad y pregunte el por qué lo tenía así agarrando tanto polvo, me conto que la última vez que lo uso solo le dejo de mandar video, que encendía pero la pantalla quedaba en negro. En ese primer momento pensé que tal vez el problema haya sido por el polvo o que la misma suciedad del polvo haya creado un mal contacto en las Memorias RAM.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>To be honest I was interested from the first moment and more when I saw those descriptions on the board that referred to support BUS 1066 "Quad Core" processors. I immediately thought that something could be done with this nice board that is also from a recognized brand like "Asrock".</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>After a while talking with my friend and explaining him a little what I had in mind for the CPU, he told me that he had no problem in giving it to me, that is to say, he ended up giving it to me as a gift. At that moment I felt very happy and I also thanked him partly because he did it with the intention of supporting me in the project I had in mind.</em></div>

De inmediato pensé que algo se podía hacer con esa linda placa que aparte es de una marca reconocida como la “Asrock”.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>Después de un rato hablando con mi amigo y explicándole un poco lo que tenía en mente para el CPU, me dijo que no tenía problemas en dármela, es decir, que termino regalándomela. En ese momento me sentí muy contento y en parte le agradecí también porque lo hizo con la intensión de apoyarme en el proyecto que tenía en mente.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>When I got home I got down to work, the first thing I did was to dig a little on the web to know a little more about the specifications of the board which is an Asrock Raid Kentsfield 4CoreDX90-VSTA. This beautiful Asrock is Socket LGA 775 and what I liked the most is the CPU support, it can support from Celeron processors to Core 2 Quad processors with a maximum FSB of 1066MHz. Although I must say that it handles a DDR400 RAM model that to tell the truth is quite limited, its maximum capacity is 2GB, despite this something can be done with it =) My idea is to take it to the point of PC Gamer where I can run certain games of low and medium resources smoothly.</em></div>

After being informed about the specifications and support, I set out to do the technical part which was to test the board to see where the problem was, at first I commented on that hunch that it could be something about the RAM, to review the board carefully I made sure that there was no bulging capacitor or anything like that, everything was in perfect condition, what I did, is that it was quite dirty and dusty, that's why I kept the faith that it could be a problem of RAM that were not making good contact product of dirt.</em></div>

<div class="text-justify"><em>Al llegar a casa me puse manos a la obra, lo primero que hice fue indagar un poco en la web para saber un poco más sobre las especificaciones de la Placa la cual es una Asrock Raid Kentsfield 4CoreDX90-VSTA. Esta hermosa Asrock es de Socket LGA 775 y lo que más que me ha gustado es el soporte en cuanto a CPU, puede admitir desde procesadores Celeron hasta procesadores Core 2 Quad con un FSB máximo de 1066MHz. Aunque debo decir que maneja un modelo de RAM DDR400 que a decir verdad es bastante limitado, su capacidad máxima es 2GB, a pesar de esto algo se puede hacer con ella =) Mi idea es llevarla a punto de PC Gamer donde pueda correr ciertos juegos de bajos y medianos recursos de forma fluida.</em></div>

Después de haberme informado sobre las especificaciones y soporte, me dispuse hacer la parte técnica que era probar la placa para ver donde estaba el problema, en un principio comente sobre esa corazonada que podía ser algo con respecto a la RAM, al revisar la placa con detenimiento me asegure de que no hubiera algún capacitador abombado ni nada por el estilo, todo estaba en perfecto estado, lo que sí, es que estaba bastante sucia y con mucho polvo, es por eso que mantuve la fe en que podía ser un problema de las memorias RAM que no estaban haciendo un buen contacto producto de la suciedad.</em></div>
