Well I think you can do so in PeakD. Once you log in, go to the dragdown menu near your avatar in the top right. Then go to PeakD settings. You can see the beneficiary there and click edit default.

I never knew it did that  Smart ideas to disable it.  Get your rewards going to you and now someone else.  If you want to give to them that is fine but not to have to.

If you are using your LEO Power to its full potential by being actively curating then it doesn't make sense for you to lend away your precious LEO. 

It's for those peeps who would want to use their stake to make some liquid LEO everyday! If you are going on a vacation, you can use this apart from auto curating.

APR on leasing depends upon each lease request. How much a person is willing to pay for the amount of power they want? For example: someone would pay 100 LEO for 1000 LP and someone would pay 50 LEO for 1000 LP. APR for curation is also not constant for everyone.

The team is still working on the game, but it's slow.

I did read somewhere that they were considering making some parts of the game open source in order to speed things up a little, but I'm not sure if that will ever actually happen.

For now, I'm just enjoying playing and getting my head around the mechanics of the in-game economy.

I've spent endless hours playing *Football Manager* and [Hattrick](http://hattrick.org/) for free, so this is all just good fun haha.

The **energy segment** is one of the most interesting.  We are seeing so much development and disruption.  However, in spite of this, the need for fossil fuels is still great.

The people running Palantir aren't buying the gold bars because they're gold bugs-- they would have been doing so since Day One if that was the case.  Palantir is buying gold bars as a hedge against "black swan events" which can come from nowhere at any time.  It looks as if black swan events are more likely at this point in time and going forward.

Palantir is also accepting payment for services in both gold and Bitcoin as well as fiat currency.  It's just covering all the bases.

For the last 2+ months I've been converting all my liquid Layer 2 tokens to Layer 2 token power (likewise for HIVE to HP).  I'm not near any point where I can cash out, so my priority was to build up token power for various reasons.

Recently I discovered 2 situations where it helps to keep some liquid money: promoting posts and p2p transfers.  P2P transfers should be obvious, but what isn't obvious is keeeping the money liquid to do P2P.

Not including HP delegated to me, I have @ 156 HP.  LEO/POB/CENT Power are @ 400 each (more or less).  All other Layer 2 tokens are too low to consider here.

I still want to increase the HP and Layer 2 token power as fast as I can, but now I have other considerations (promotion, p2p, periodic delegations to accounts like @brofi).   I was wondering what minimum of HIVE and Layer 2 tokens I should keep liquid.  Once I get there, I can increase the liquid money at my convenience.

When I had my troubles with Resouce Credits, I wanted to increase my HP as quickly as possible.  That's not much of a concern thse days, so now I'm shifting to the fun stuff like delegating or whatever else I can do with the resources I have.

Not including what I did today, I rarely if ever transfer HIVE or Layer 2 tokens to others.  I make an exception for engagement tokens like PIZZA, LUV, and BEER; those I transfer to the account I use for D.Buzz for use there.

I'll need liquid HIVE or Layer 2 tokens for at least these reasons:
* Post promotion (Ecency points are goor for that);
* Blockchain games (4 HIVE for dCity cards);
* Contests (Staked Hive/Layer 2 tokens aren't so convenient for that);
* P2P exchange for good and services

I think I'll need at least 10 HIVE as well as an equivalent value for certain Layer 2 tokens.  Over time it won't matter anymore, but I want to reach the minimum as soon as possible and then forget about it and let it accumulate slowly.

Like someone else said, it's literally all the countries who have zero stability in their currency.

In the *relatively stable west*, we get so tied up in seeing crypto purely as a speculative asset.

But it literally saves peoples life savings from shitty, corrupt governments and central banks all over the world.

**Hive** is one of the most **decentralized blockchains** there is.

Hence the regulatory moves being made are going to have a tough time applying to Hive.

40k would be nuts these places/people always over estimate. I find if you chop them down to 1/3 or a half that's normally your money zone in the time frame they say. 

We are only at 2 trillion market cap we need 10 trillion to hit gold levels and 300 trillion for stock market levels. I don't see us getting to stock market levels any time soon but gold levels sure and that would put us around 15-20k Ethereum.

I got a few dollars worth of CUB yesterday. It's my favorite buy right now because I think the price is so low. While the whole market is green, CUB is sitting there silently doing not much price action. And that's a great opportunity to buy more of them. I am sure IDOs will have some impact on the price even if it is for short term.

Did anyone catch the CryptoManiacs show with Blocktrades?

He said some very interesting stuff about **smart contracts** and how it will allow anyone with coding skills to use languages they now instead of solidity.

This makes for a more secure system since the code is battle tested.

EOS is dead and I was shocked to know that Dan Larimer is the father of DPoS who is behind EOS as well. It changed the world forever. Not so much for his pet projects Steem or EOS. He should be happy about Hive though. Would be great to have him on board and building with us. The best crypto community!

I used to be a huge EOS fan boy.

All my holdings however, were dumped into CUB at $3...

Long term I still think that this will be a good move.

...but right now it just makes me resent EOS even more haha.

Wow!!!  That's pretty cool!  I would have liked to see one of them trip on something to see what happens.  Can they "save" themselves?  Could they get up again and complete their run?  Or would they lay there like turtles on their backs?  The backflips were pretty insane though.  I wonder how many thousands of dollars of gear they went through perfecting that little trick?

I do not know to what extent Defi applications are safe but the yields are so high that you can still navigate this sea of sharks.

There are safe, little to no risk DeFi options out there. HBD Savings and Cub Finance are one of the best ones I could find so far. 

In the meanwhile, I have put some money in high-risk platforms where yields are better. ✌ I am willing to lose all of that money.

**HBD** is about as risk free as it gets.  As long as you do not believe that **Hive** is going to zero, then you are safe.

There is very little safety since it could be hackers, rug pulls and etc happening. So I highly suggest you do your own research and its why I believe in CubFinance.

You are right, it is a sea of sharks.

That is why I stick with **Cubfinance**.  At least I can rest knowing that a rug pull is off the table.  That cant be said for a lot of developers out there in the **DeFi** world.

Maybe giving up a little on the yield but getting it back in safety.

When hive blockchain started and created after hard fork few top exchanges listed hive coin like binance and huobi

Why there is not any new papular exchange listing for hive coin from almost last one year?

I know we have some decentralized dex exchanges to trade hive and hbd but I think centralized exchanges still have millions of dollars daily trading volume along with thousands of users

What *popular* exchanges are you referring to that you think need to list Hive?

We're on the majors like Binance, Huobi and Bittrex.

What else matters?

(Coinbase doesn't count).

@forexbrokr check trading pairs of top cryptocurrencies on coinmarketcap.com like Bitcoin and ethereum even dogecoin have 200 trading pairs, cryptocurrency exchanges world not ends on binance, huobi and bittrex you can check complete list on cryptocurrency exchanges where hive coin can be listed by visiting

For example Kucoin, Kraken, FTX, bitfinex, gemini, OKex etc

Most exchanges what you to pay them while others like **Coinbase** are very difficult to get on.  

When we start to roll out a lot of stuff on **Hive**, don't worry, the exchanges will start flocking to pick up Hive.

At the end of the day, the **SIP** is going to suck up a ton of **Hive** once the SpkNetwork gets going.
