###### Sunday night Netflix - StartUp 
I'm back watching [Startup on Netflix](https://www.netflix.com/au/title/80154285).

It's fun to listen to the way they pitch their decentralised cryptocurrency...

Of which the team and their shady investors retain a majority of the supply to...

On that note, I've already had a laugh about what the [GenCoin price](https://leofinance.io/@forexbrokr/a-fun-look-at-startup-s-gencoin-price-if-it-was-real) would be if it was real.

While they're certainly not the only ones, I don't think they get what decentralised means ;)

Definitely check the show out if you get a chance, despite its obvious flaws, it's certainly a bit of fun.

The article wasnt there sadly.

It is not surprising.  There are many who believe in that.  I dont see **inflation** holding.  Some commodities are already starting to roll.

The bottom line is prices went up faster than wage growth and that means that prices can be sustained.  People will end up rejecting them.

I have questions about video dApps:
* What's the difference between 3Speak and DTube?
* Why would anyone use one over the other?
* Is one better for certain types of videos instead of the other?
* How do both compare to SPK Network?

Ethereum 2.0 staking contract is the largest holder of Ethereum atm. A large concentration of Ethereum is locked until the contract opens to enable removal. 

I fear this will have a negative impact on the price of Ethereum once it happens.

If I was going to sell a portion, which I don't own any Ethereum. I would do it before liquidity removal. But any dump will probably bounce back as more people jump in. Who knows what will happen.  A growing network needs more stakers.

Looking at TRON, DOGE (and it's minion alt coins) are below 1 dollar for years.

I thought the promise of cryptocurrency was BYOB-- Be Your Own Bank.  I thought the point of cryptocurrency was to bypass legacy banking altogether.

Also, wouldn't private bank-owned cryptocurrency (as opposed to CBDCs) be centralized?

A digital wallet covers about 90% of what most use a bank for.  It does not, however, cover everything.

Totally new spectrum.  6G will be a lot faster than 5G which is expected to be faster than what we have now.

We need to have faster networks, less latency, and the ability to handle more devices.  That is why each evolution is taking place.

As far as the technicals, well those are over my head.  LOL

Well I have heard about 5G but I haven't really heard anyone make a big deal out of it. It just seems lack luster compared to when 4G came out.

It got a lot of hype and then faded to the back burner.

We will see how it unfolds over the next couple years.  I think the initial rollouts were a bit disappointing to companies.

There certainly is the health implications. Some studies have show some danger.  Of course, in this era, how much good are studies since most of them are fudged.

30 years ago, the talk was that we would see an explosion in the rates of brain cancer by having cell phones.  Yet over 30 years, brain cancer rates have not strayed from their long term trend.

That is true but we are not really **decentralized** when you think about it.  Most applications and even blockchains have vulnerabilities with their centralization.

We need wrapped tokens for interoperability between blockchains. For ex, USDT on Ethereum and USDT on BSC are different. 

bLeo - Leo on BSC
wleo - Leo on Ethereum
Leo stays on Hive.

While they are technically separate tokens, they are all just versions of the native LEO that you buy on Hive-Engine.

wLEO and bLEO are simply wrapped versions of native LEO, simply so you can use the token on other blockchains.

I'm not 100% sure on the exact mechanics off the top of my head, but when you wrap LEO, you're not adding to the supply.

It's either burned or held in escrow until you unwrap it back to native LEO.
