Here is the post for the Daily Leo Talk. In preparation for the upcoming Microblogging features, this is a good place to start conversations, posts charts, memes, trades, or anything else that comes to mind.

I think I have all my SPORTS, CTP and POB delegated to you. I will have to check. It makes the most sense to me as I am not really involved in those communities. Best to delegate my voting power so it does not go to waste!

I think LINK is a must-own long-term. They are basically the king of the oracles which are vital to many of the cryptos out there.  I'm no expert on how it all works but they are infrastructure, like Ethereum.  Almost everything needs it.

I also just bought into ICP which just came out on Coinbase and a couple other exchanges.  Expensive but they are basically planning to compete with and ultimately kill AWS and Google hosting.  Cheaper, faster, and decentralized so companies like Parlor and others can't be censored off the web by political hacks and other big tech companies.  Probably going to be very volatile at the beginning here so I'm laddering in but....if they can deliver, it will be a massive home run.

Personally, I like The Graph (GRT) as a long-term play as well. I read through their white-paper and roadmap and it made sense to me at the time.  Hasn't done much but go up and down between $1-$2 but...I have a small autobuy on it with Coinbase because I think it could be another infrastructure piece down the line.

Those would be the ones I would add to the ones already mentioned.  Like everyone else has already said though, DYOR.  Everything is pretty much a crap-shoot right now with the space still developing.

Well I like HIVE, CUB, LEO and other things on chain.

But outside of HIVE, I guess BTC, BNB, ETH, AVA, RUNE and ADA are probably the better picks. They got plenty of users and the community behind it is at least fairly strong.

  The latest trend on Hive is to talk about how long is the power down period. The thing is : I don't understand why it has become such a popular topic at the moment when the price is kinda meh, I would have thought that lowering the power down period would be all the rage when the price would be mooning but people have their own priorities that are too complex for a lowly pleb like myself.
  I just hope that shorter power downs won't result in some massive dumps from time to time and the recent swings in price isn't a divine warning not to mess with it :)

ProjectBlank is a coding nightmare from what I am finding out.  Toughest project of all they are doing. 

Seems like some of the automation with the Geyser pool is having issues too.  A bunch of that is being pushed into Q4 it seems.

Either way a lot of good stuff happening.

Yeah, it's a good post, especially for the newbies. A fun way to deal with a controversial topic. 

I understand downvotes are necessary to counter abuse. But I may never use them because they do not change the habits of the other person. It offends them for sure! 

They should change the term 'Downvote' to 'Rewards Pool Replenisher' or something.

This appears to be quite the undertaking. From what I saw, so far it looks fantastic.

In my humble opinion, I concur with his decision to first go after the 'newbies'. Two reasons: 'newbies' have not been jaded by chasing higher rates elsewhere in a platform where they receive zero support; and, once prepared, it can be pared down to provide an informational welcome to the more experienced DeFi investor.

I wish I had some proficiency in coding so I could help with this endeavor. But when it comes to computers all I know is how to turn it on and pray it works.

Personally I wanted to prepare another off site promotional article to be published today. Beyond coming up with a title (thank you for your help @taskmaster4450le) I've experienced writers' block, and yesterday my attention was diverted because of some bull shit occurring on one of my posts.

I will definitely get to writing that promotional piece early this coming week and get it published ASAP. I believe it is very important to let people outside Hive/Leo know the benefits that can be found here.

Do not pay attention to those *haters*. Nine times out of ten it is just jealousy. I have said many times: *Do not feed the trolls*. When engaging with them you do nothing more than provide them with notoriety as their account becomes associated with you.

I have learned from my own mistakes becoming involved with drama or initiating it. It serves no purpose. As long as the LEO community at large has no qualms with the type of content you publish on Leo Finance or tag as a LEO Finance publication, don't sweat it.

Almost without exception, every "successful" crypto has a very passionate community "preaching" the merits of their coin/token. While this community is passionate, it hasn't done much to expand awareness in the rest of the cryptosphere. I know I haven't done much other than word-of-mouth to a few people I know. 

What he's doing represents what could be a giant first step into allowing us, as the community, to help get the word out.  We have a lot of great things to say but....for the most part, we say them all here.  Hopefully he can teach some of us how to get into the mainstream with our passion.

This could possibly be a singular, pivotal moment in the history of LeoFinance. A turning point, if you will. If he can get this dialed in, combined with the marketing planned for Cub and Leo, @NathanMars on twitter, and a couple other initiatives, we could get to the point where we can just point people to a website and all the training and information necessary will be there waiting for them. The ball could finally and significantly start rolling down the hill.

Super excited about this!

Yea I think it is great because you can avoid impermanent loss more than common pools. I think it would definitely make staking in the pools more attractive since you have a little more control.

Yes. The growth is outstanding. I started looking at this as a contender to be one of my income producing holdings. But from what I read (somewhere, I'll be damned if I can remember where) they don't pay dividends (at least not on a regular basis). If that is the case I might get some for appreciation purposes and establish a sell target range, but it would not work for my income goal so I won't be accumulating. That is, unless I'm wrong in my understanding.

No doubt. I mean if you have to cut your losses its one thing. But the crypto market will not stay down forever. The market will recover and so will Cub. We need to get the rug pull message out there, as well as push the new and existing investment tools offered to attract new blood.

Hell an increase in TVL wouldn't hurt the price one bit.

I wonder when we will see a 1 NM chip or even smaller. As I see it right now, we are probably approaching the limits of size but it does help more with energy usage. Not as much in the form of heat I think though.

I agree with you.  I dont see a lot of people buying stuff with crypto.  It is still in the speculation stage and people expect all their tokens to moon.  Thus, I see this only as a good propaganda tool and good for marketing.  The real world case is, in my view, minimal at best.

I think there will be more downside as people are confused. Even the stock market crowd is worried about what to do because I think people were freaking out during the dip. It is a major concern.  That is the rock and the hard place.  Technology is going to give us a lot but it will also destroy a lot of jobs, especially with the unskilled.

How do we resolve this?  We dont know at this time.  Expect the talk of direct aid and some type of government action.  There are few choices.

The weekly LBI report is out and it is a great one.  Another week of terrific LEO earnings.

No big deal.  Cant move $5,200 and basically dole it out without having it affect the holdings.  But as I noted in a comment, it is an investment.  LBI gets 10% of the proceeds which are them going to show up on the earning report.  If it does get to the 100 LEO per week level that he discussed in the post, that would be ideal.

That is true.  Funding is at the core most technological breakthroughs.  So yes it will have to get the funding while also being able to scale.

Gpt Neo is not at all powerful when compared to GPT3 . Neo is created by another company. 

If you can train your model then you can go with NEO . I actually laid my hands on it , it takes too much GPU to train so I gave up. 

Whereas GPT3 is api based , everything happens on their servers . There is no need to train models because it is already very powerful

It could escalate.  We have not seen a lot of embracing by the Administration of crypto but that is no different than the last one.   We will see how the agencies act.  The SEC is still after all things crypto but that might subside.

Yes I think there will be a clash between Biden and the crypto people. It doesn't fit with the generic Democrat's way of control. They want to cut people off financially and socially if you don't fit the narrative. 

The biggest problem I see is that the general people in front of the Dems that might let it go (Pelosi, Schumer and etc) no longer really show up on the media minus big issues. So you know which side is in control now.

Not an isolated outlook.  I saw many who believe $42K could be in the cards before running higher.  We will see how things unfold this week.  Maybe Elon will announce he is going to mine Bitcoin with renewable energy to alleviate the impact.

Like dagger I think 42k (which I said a few days ago). If it breaches that, I expect BTC in the 30k-39k range so I hope it doesn't go that far. Its going to be tough for anyone who didn't buy before the run up.

That would really test a lot of hands, that is for sure.  A lot of newer people never really experienced a major BTC pullback of 50% or so.  It is painful but part of the process.
