<div class="pull-left">To refer to puppets is to teach our little ones about the existence of dolls created by people to give mobility and represent various stories; which are made with varied materials depending on the creativity of each one; there are those that have mobility through threads, those made of fabric, cardboard and even with those old socks that we have at home we can make them. It is something so creative and that arouses the interest of the little ones in creating them and seeing how the result will be.</div>

These were very simple, made of things that I had kept at home for some time, including: white fabric from long lycra pants that I cut out, school wool, some stones or pearls of various sizes, scissors, a needle and thread, a little of satin ribbon, brightly colored eye shadows.

1- With a needle and thread make some stitches in the fabric at the top of the wrong side so that the seam is hidden and then pull a little as shown in the photo. Then flip the fabric over to what will be the front of your puppet and so that the seam is on the inside.

> **_1-  Con aguja e hilo hacer unas puntadas en la tela en la parte superior del lado al revés para que la costura quede oculta y luego jalar un poco como se muestra en la fotografía. Luego voltea la tela hacia lo que será el frente de tu títere y para que la costura quede por dentro._**

**_Note:_** You can instruct your little ones to place appliqués such as a ribbon, bow, flower or hat on the hair of your puppets. They can also add a cute tie or mustache if it's a male doll.

#

**_Nota:_** Puedes indicar a tus pequeños que coloquen apliques como alguna cinta, lazo, florecita o gorrito en el cabello de tus títeres. También pueden añadir una linda corbata o bigote en caso de ser un muñeco masculino.

# <center>¿What do children learn with this activity?</center>

- They learn what a puppet is as we explain its concept.

- Work with recycling materials, teaching that they can reuse many things for conservation and help the environment in this activity as in others.

- Development of the capacity for observation and concentration.

# <center>¿Qué aprenden los pequeños con esta actividad?</center>

- Aprenden lo qué es un títere ya que explicamos su concepto.

- Trabajar con materiales de reciclaje, enseñando que pueden reutilizar muchas cosas para conservación y ayudar el ambiente en esta actividad como en otras.

- Desarrollo de la capacidad de observación y concentración.

- Creamos lazos y vínculos fuertes en el desarrollo del afecto y la comunicación cuando realizas esta actividad en familia.

- Logramos que pasen un momento agradable en la elaboración de los títeres, como a su vez si son niños/a muy enérgicos están tan entretenidos.

- Enseñamos a compartir materiales junto con quienes están haciendo los títeres.

- Trabajo en equipo y colaboración.

- Desarrollan la motricidad fina, puesto que dan uso a manos y dedos al crear el cabello con la lana escolar y darle color con las sombras de colores.

- Les enseñas y aprenden de colores con la paleta de sombras de ojos que usan para dar color y detalles a su muñeco.

- Involucramos al pequeño/a al mundo de las manualidades con nuestra ayuda, despertando el interés por ellas.

- El hecho de crear algo con tu ayuda refuerza su autoestima desde muy pequeños; estas abriéndoles paso a estar seguros de realizar alguna actividad o proyecto a través de sus manos.


- Permite la creación de historias y cuentos de su propia imaginación a través del juego con sus títeres.

- Al dar movimientos al títere esta activa la motricidad fina (manos, dedos, muñeca) como a su vez, la motricidad gruesa con el mover del brazo.
