Hola a todos mis amigos de esta comunidad de Hive, reciban un cordial saludos de mi parte, deseándoles de corazón que estén bien. En esta ocasión les hablaré de un tema interesante y que toca nuestra vida a diario.

En la actualidad no es muy común conseguir personas que estén dispuestas a interesarse genuinamente en el bienestar de otros. Es muy cierto que aunque todos nacemos con la capacidad de amar, hay otros que cometen actos injustos mientras buscan su propio provecho, o en otros casos los esfuerzos de uno mismo por mostrar amor e interés son mal interpretados, uno pudiera llegar a la conclusión que el mejor proceder es sencillamente prestar atención a sí mismo y a nadie más.

>Nowadays it is not very common to find people who are willing to take a genuine interest in the welfare of others. It is very true that even though we are all born with the capacity to love, there are others who commit unjust acts while seeking their own advantage, or in other cases one's own efforts to show love and interest are misinterpreted, we might come to the conclusion that the best course of action is to simply pay attention to oneself and no one else.

Otras personas, viendo que algunos que explotan a otros prosperan materialmente, tal vez piensen erróneamente que ese es el camino al éxito. El resultado es que en muchos casos, algunas personas se vuelven desconfiadas y tienen pocos amigos. ¿A qué se debe esta triste situación?

>Other people, seeing that some who exploit others prosper materially, may mistakenly think that this is the way to success. The result is that in many cases, some people become distrustful and have few friends. Why is this sad state of affairs?

En algunos casos se debe a la falta de amor, el que se manifiesta en interés sincero por el bien de otra persona. Esa clase de amor que da sin esperar ninguna retribución. Cuando hacemos cosas buenas por otros, y lo hacemos de corazón, solemos experimentar emociones en nuestro interior que son muy gratificantes, nos llenan de mucha paz.

>In some cases it is due to a lack of love, which manifests itself in sincere interest in the good of another person. That kind of love that is given without expecting any return. When we do good things for others, and we do it from the heart, we tend to experience emotions within us that are very gratifying, filling us with a lot of peace.

Cada día se nos presentan oportunidades para hacer cosas buenas a favor de otros, sobre todo prestar nuestra ayuda en este momento de la vida que nos ha tocado vivir con esta pandemia, ser solidarios en medio de tantos corazones rotos por la pérdida de sus seres amados.

>Every day we are presented with opportunities to do good things for others, especially to lend our help in this moment of life that we have had to live with this pandemic, to be in solidarity in the midst of so many hearts broken by the loss of their loved ones.

En momentos así, ayudar se vuelve vital para no perder la cordura y mantenernos de pie y no perder la esperanza, saber que todo esto es temporal y que sin lugar a dudas saldremos de toda esta tragedia más fortalecidos, por eso nuestro amor no debe ser mezquino, sino un amor del bueno que es lo que más necesitamos en momentos como éstos.

>At times like this, helping becomes vital not to lose our sanity and keep us standing and not lose hope, knowing that all this is temporary and that undoubtedly we will come out of this tragedy stronger, so our love should not be petty, but a good love that is what we need most at times like these.
