That was a very interesting read. Exciting days ahead let's see if BCH can replace the incumbent chain. What ever the case it small holders like me will always follow the incumbent chain whether is is BCH or the incumbent BTC.

Plausible but unlikely. Very interesting nonetheless.

Regardless, the future isn't Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash as they both suffer the same problem. Long-term scalability. What coin that future is, I don't know. The crypto scene is still so young and the coming years will be very interesting!

Also known as Operation Dragonslayer (think of all the cool graphics you could have used!).  Bitcoin Core and it's fanbase have every reason to be paranoid because their network IS vulnerable.  They can change the dates and rehash the conspiracy story for the next difficulty adjustment and it might just eventually become a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Let market forces do their job I say.  This isn't socialism.  Competition is the name of the game.

Good post, I'm gonna laugh if this happens and the markets decide to be irrational as they often are and the price gets pumped because nobody can deposit their Bitcoin into exchanges to dump. 

I just want to point out that the pastebins read like they were written by Dr. Evil.  The whole conspiracy is technically plausible and based in reality in principal, but I can't help but read this in Dr. Evil's voice.

Ive read in to this a little and it seems like a very real possibility. I hope it doesn't come to fruition because it would rekt the entire market not just bitcoin.

Well it looks like it has already begun. BCH is almost $1800 as I type this comment.

Hey all this information and the data that you had shared with us in this post will tell many more about Bitcoin and it seems like that still having a very great potential and I would be thinking to invest in it and waiting for some price down. Main there will be some correction but what did data you had shared it shows that having a great potential still untapped.

Disturbing that there are endless plans being made against bitcoin, they should be happy with what they have and how crypto currencies are evolving. Public confidence will be undermined and they will undoubtedly want to stay with the devil they know, FIAT.

Geez, reading all of this is really disconcerting.. One would think it paranoid if there wasn't so much to back all of it up. On top of all the existing rumors of this take-over attempt and previous reports of these 'plans' surfacing. 

Maybe this has something to do with ETH going up too? With all the Bitcoin drama, it appeared to me like a safe haven (and technologically better anyway) crypto to move to. Of course I moved there a month too early but it seems like people are definitely catching on now.

Especially with possible upcoming FUD of funds being unable to be moved on Bitcoin, who needs that uncertainty?

When you suggest taking all coins off the exchange, does this mean USDT also?  I have had this hunch for some time and have traded out of most all my BTC to BCC and into USDT. Today though, I might just take more profits from BCC and remain in cash, at least until the holiday is fully digested (pun intended). I just don't know how prudent it will be to focus strictly on turkey and wine for the interim. Oh, and one last point... Why does Wierd Al never get any older?

If nothing else, I will lock away that little gem about getting money out of exchanges over Murican holidays.

And while I can claim a certain amount of ignorance about the technical side of cryptocurrencies, your description is simple enough to give me a basic understanding that the miners drive the currency.

Most people simply try to follow the price fluctuations and predict where they're going to go (usually unsuccessfully), but having an idea where the miners are taking their hashing power is a whole different level.

You're going to be in my next #bernieblackfriday post for sure (and it won't be in a sarcastic way like @sweeeettsssssj's mention was in my first shameless upvote grab).
