Daily routine: How does the day go for an infant?

This past week, social media posts and news have given me anxiety as a Mom. Several posts about the death of their child were disheartening.

Not sure if there is anyone who encountered a lengthy post about a Mom who left her three-year-old daughter in the living room to take a bath. It was that long, yet the kid got choked with her doll's little shoes. **[facebook post here](https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=don%27t%20leave%20your%20child%20alone)** The post was to give awareness to everyone *not to leave their child alone.*

The other one was a boy who was accidentally hit by his father's car. **[Post here](https://www.facebook.com/reel/585506547184986)** Now, here comes the recent accident in NAIA - Ninoy Aquino International Airport that killed the child. It was a trending post on Facebook, and hearing the father's wailing cry makes my heart bleed. As a fellow parent, that made me easily understand his pain. That made me lay low in writing and some social media activities as I wanted to focus on my son.

In and infant stage and learning to walk, I badly need to keep in I with him. The last time I didn't just a matter of seconds, he fell. Hit our headboard and got a bruise on his face 😫.

**How do I survive the day, then take care of him and do the household chores?**

**Start of our day.**

Just like us he is an early riser. Six in the morning is the most late time he woke up. After checking his diaper if needed to be change, we goes out in our room to prepare breakfast.

![0773a070-a185-438b-be7e-a15964e8ba7d.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lhes/23yTeoA7FtuV19igaqCnFBRwET6y612zH8eW5kp8c1guhjZCt7wG21GSJymn6MMFoezE7.jpg)

Once he woke up on the right side of the bed, he would play on his crib for minutes. As our home isn't that huge, this is how far he was in the kitchen where I am cooking. One mistake I made was purchasing that crib. Aside from being too small, the corners were dangerous if he fell. That is why I tied a cloth. Not only that, I placed his crib near the window so he would be entertained by hearing sounds of nature.

After preparing food, we would moved at the porch. Me, to eat, have a cup of coffee and him on his walker. Sometimes, I could finished my meal in other instances not as he would started to get fussy. Perhaps gets bored already. He would cry and even pinch and bite my legs. Why? It's the time to go out and have a walk!

![8acb6c7b-ba99-4e3e-9fce-fdd21ee3242b.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lhes/241tUuFhzLryHPiTDvhemHpihAncr6FzT8hCPqLJTuJ1Hqr5kCgsRq2oMzYELDgEDUjZz.jpg)

It's not only for his sake but also mine. At least I had a quick exercise. As an infant, just like others, he is aware of his surroundings and curious. In the photo, he heard the sound of an airplane, and he was waiting for it to pass by.

They could be just strolling around, or we would go to the market or grocery store. Thus, I ensure it's still early, not past seven in the morning. This is to avoid vehicles for possible danger.

It is much safer not only from accidents but less pollution too which may affect our health.

![5bceae32-6dfd-4831-9710-c07a9c93abb2.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lhes/23wMcMACDGq31iVRHBJVu93WXygHmGPPZDvMuNYx6TmPxnctcuL65jUgSTwaUzLuL4ZUk.jpg)

The little rascal wanted to kick those veggies! Thankful I saw it coming 🀣. Even at the grocery store, I needed to hold his hands or else he would snatch anything.

Arriving home from the short walk, it was now his breakfast time.

![120fd8b1-4074-496b-a8f6-3b5e4d100dc4.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lhes/23xL31GJvSjk3akhZLLSenEBYRdHzYuXtyhWm3K8F4WEk92ZFqxuscQWiDTpdWPKkro5y.jpg)

Depends on his food, whether I would let him eat on his own, BLW, or have me feed him. I am not a good cook, so most of the time I ran out of ideas. Thanks to marse @cindee08's suggestions.

**Does he eat well?**

**NOT** all the time. As a short-tempered person, it was quite surprising to discover that I could be patient. I think all moms do.

Around nine in the morning, before ten, he is done eating, bath, and most of the time, at first nap. That's my time to do all the household chores. Two - three hours maximum, including my ME TIME. Then after, he would wake up and time to take care of the little boss.

*I was planning to write about the whole day's activity, but it would be too long. This had been in my drafts since Sunday. Yet, only now I managed to finish.* πŸ˜’

Having a young child really takes a lot of a mother's time but I'm sure you cherish every moment of it. At the end of the day, it may be tiring but it's also rewarding. Early morning walk is good for both of you and a chance to see the scenery outside or maybe a chance to buy something at nearby stores. Happy bonding moment with your baby.

Hehe, yes, a little child keeps you always busy and is kind of a full-time job, but at the same time gives you also so much fun, love and joy ...
