Since I discovered Splinterlands blockchain based games have become my passion.
I have a particular preference for games created and developed on the **Hive** blockchain because Hive is my favorite blockchain project and because I consider the Hive blockchain to be the ideal environment for developing and creating blockchain-based games.
There are many reasons why a developer of blockchain-based games should choose Hive's blockchain but the main two reasons are as follows:
- Hive has a large and beautiful community that acts as a "natural propulsion" for good projects built on Hive.
- Hive is **very fast** (3 seconds block speed) and has **transaction costs = 0!**

**Ape Mining Club** is an **mining simulation game** that is simple to play and takes little time.
The **purpose of the game** is to earn **APE** tokens through the purchase and use of virtual mining equipment: **CPU, CLOUD, GPU, ASIC, QUANTUM**.

To play Ape Mining Club you must meet the following **Requirements:**. 
- **1. You must have a Hive account**.

### Step 1: Log in to https://apemining.club/.
- **1.** Enter your **Hive username** (arrow number 1 in the image below)
- **2.** Click on **Login** (arrow number 2 in the following picture)
- **3.** Click on **CONFIRM** in the Hive KeyChain screen (arrow number 3 in the following image)

### Step 2: Choose a pool and buy equipment
In the game Ape Mining Club, there are **5 pools** that you can choose from: **CPU, CLOUD, GPU, ASIC, QUANTUM**.

Each pool has a **Daily Rate** which indicates the amount of APE tokens that will be distributed daily to pool participants.

For example, the **CPU pool** distributes **50 APE tokens** each day.

In order to participate in a pool, it is necessary to buy the appropriate type of equipment for the pool.
Each pool has only one specific type of equipment.

To show the steps to participate in a pool I will buy a GPU at the same time as writing this post.

The **pool GPU** has a Daily Rate of 200 and the **cost** of a **GPU** is **25 APE tokens**.

I can buy a GPU because I have **35.58 APE tokens** in my wallet on Hive Engine.

To buy a GPU:
- **1.** I clicked on **Buy - 25 APE** as indicated by the arrow in the image below.

- **2.** in the next screen I selected the amount of GPU to buy (Arrow number 1 in the following image)
- **3.** I clicked on **BUY** (Arrow number 2 in the following image)
- **4.** I clicked on **CONFIRM** on Hive KeyChain

I increased the number of GPUs I have by one and now I have 2 GPUs.

Yesterday I only had one GPU and the payment I received from the GPU pool was **0.271 APE tokens**.
The last payment received is listed in the box for each pool: **Past Payout**.

Every 24 hours there is a **snapshot** and on the Ape Mining Club home page there is a counter indicating the time remaining for the next Snapshot

In seven hours and 28 minutes, my latest purchase will allow me to receive more APE tokens from the GPU pool and the Past Payout data will be updated.

## <center>Ways to earn APE tokens</center>

On Ape Mining Club participating in a pool is the primary way to earn APE tokens but it is not the only way available.

The **ways to earn APE tokens** are as follows:
- purchase equipment and participate in a pool
- purchase and hold APE tokens on Hive Engine
- delegate Hive Power (HP) to the @apeminingclub account
- take ownership of a pool
- purchase second tier Hive tokens that distribute APE tokens

How to buy equipment and participate in a pool I've already shown it and now I'll show you one by one the other ways.

### <center>Buy and hold APE tokens on Hive Engine</center>
***
Simply purchasing APE tokens on Hive Engine allows you to receive a daily reward in APE tokens.
In fact, 10% of the APE tokens spent by miners to purchase equipment is divided among all APE token holders.
The value of your pending rewards as an APE holder is indicated in each pool by the **Pending Rewards** value (see arrow indication in the following image)

You will see a **Pending Rewards = 0** value in a pool if:
- you have no APE tokens
- no equipment has been purchased in that pool on the current day

### <center>Delegate Hive Power (HP) to @apeminingclub account</center>

**Delegating HP tokens to @apeminingclub allows you to receive a daily reward in APE tokens**.
10% of the rewards go to devs (@blockheadgames).
A portion of these rewards are divided among Hive Power delegators.
I delegated 100 HP to the @apeminingclub account.

### <center>Take ownership of a pool</center>

There is a way to earn APE tokens without buying and using APE tokens: use STEM tokens to take ownership of a pool.

Each pool has a Owner (Owned By).
If within the box of a Pool you click **Take Ownership** you can take ownership of that pool.
Owners of a pool receive 10% of the APE tokens spent by miners to purchase pool equipment.
Taking ownership of a pool has a cost, and that cost:
- doubles each time the owner of the pool changes.
- It halves at the end of the day (snapshot time).

The cost of taking ownership of a pool is a certain amount of **token STEM** which is shown in the **Take Ownership** box as indicated by the arrow in the following image.
For example, to take ownership of the CPU pool you need to use 128 STEEM = 3.17$.

**STEM** tokens are second level tokens on the Hive blockchain, like APE tokens.
STEM tokens can be bought and sold on Hive Engine but to unlike APE tokens they can also be staked and delegated to another account.

In order to play on Ape Mining Club, I purchased **85 APE tokens**.

When I placed my purchase order (November 3, 2021) the APE tokens were worth more than today (0.52 SWAP.HIVE) while the HIVE tokens were worth less than today ($0.703).

- **1 CLOUD** - cost: 10 APE
- **1 GPU** - cost: 25 APE
- **1 ASIC** - cost: 50 APE

With the earnings received from BRO tokens and UTOPIS tokens I have purchased:
- **2 CPUs** - cost 2 APE

From November 12, 2021 to today (December 11, 2021) I have earned from my gaming activity on Ape Mining Club a total of **34,852 APE tokens**:
- 3,764 APE (Delegation Rewards).
- 31,088 APE (Mining Rewards + Holding Rewards)


If I consider my investment only in terms of APE tokens I got in 30 days a **ROI** of **41%**.

Based on the current values of HIVE tokens and APE tokens to reach the **breakeven point** I still need to get a value of **37.66 HIVE** from the rewards.

It would take me **6.75 months (100/14,796)** to reach the break-even point.
Obviously this is an **estimated** result because the real time in which I will reach the break-even point will depend on the future value of the APE tokens.

**I invested 44.20 HIVE and got rewards worth 6.54 HIVE in 30 days**.
My **short term goal** in the Ape Mining Club game is to get **5 APE tokens per day**.
In order to achieve this goal I must continue to invest and when I have achieved this goal I will focus on reaching the break-even point.

Da quando ho scoperto Splinterlands i giochi basati su blockchain sono diventati la mia passione.
Ho una particolare preferenza per i giochi creati e sviluppati sulla blockchain di **Hive** perchè Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e perchè considero la blockchain di Hive l'ambiente ideale per lo sviluppo e la creazione dei giochi basati su blockchain.
Ci sono tanti motivi per cui uno sviluppatore di giochi basati su blockchain dovrebbe scegliere la blockchain di Hive ma i principali due motivi sono i seguenti:
- Hive ha una grande e bella comunità che fa da "propulsore naturale" ai progetti validi costruiti su Hive.

### Passo 1: Effettua il login sul sito https://apemining.club/
- **1.** Inserisci la tua **username di Hive** (freccia numero 1 nell'immagine seguente)
- **2.** Clicca su **Login** (freccia numero 2 nell'immagine seguente)
- **3.** Clicca su **CONFIRM** nella schermata di Hive KeyChain (freccia numero 3 nell'immagine seguente)

### Passo 2: Scegli una pool e acquista l'attrezzatura
Nel gioco Ape Mining Club ci sono **5 pool** tra cui puoi scegliere: **CPU, CLOUD, GPU, ASIC, QUANTUM**

Ogni Pool ha un **Daily Rate** che indica il quantitativo di token APE che saranno distribuiti giornalmente ai partecipanti alla pool.

Ad esempio la **pool CPU** distribuisce ogni giorno **50 token APE**.

Per partecipare ad una Pool è necessario comprare il tipo di attrezzatura idonea alla pool.
Ogni pool ha un solo tipo di attrezzatura specifica.

Per mostrare i passi da seguire per partecipare ad una pool comprerò una GPU contestualmente alla scrittura di questo post.

La **pool GPU** ha un Daily Rate di 200 e il **costo** di una **GPU** è di **25 token APE**.

Ho incrementato il numero di GPU in mio possesso di un'unità e adesso ho 2 GPU.

Ieri avevo una sola GPU e il pagamento che ho ricevuto dalla pool GPU è stato di **0.271 token APE**.
L'ultimo pagamento ricevuto è indicato nel riquadro di ogni pool: **Past Payout**.

Fra sette ore e 28 minuti il mio ultimo acquisto mi permetterà di ricevere un numero maggiore di token APE dalla pool GPU e il dato Past Payout sarà aggiornato.

su Ape Mining Club partecipare ad una pool è il modo principale per guadagnare i token APE ma non è l'unico modo disponibile.

I **modi per guadagnare i token APE** sono i seguenti:
- acquistare attrezzature e partecipare ad una pool
- acquistare e detenere i token APE su Hive Engine
- delegare Hive Power (HP) all'account @apeminingclub
- prendere possesso di una pool
- acquistare token di secondo livello di Hive che distribuiscono token APE

Come acquistare attrezzature e partecipare ad una pool l'ho già mostrato adesso ti mostro uno per uno gli altri modi.

### <center>Acquistare e detenere i token APE su Hive Engine</center>

Il semplice acquisto dei token APE su Hive Engine permette di ricevere una ricompensa giornaliera in token APE.
Infatti il 10% dei token APE spesi dai miners per acquistare attrezzature viene diviso tra tutti i possessori di token APE.
Il valore delle tue ricompense pendenti come Ape holder è indicato in ogni pool dal valore **Pending Rewards** (vedi indicazione frecce nell'immagine seguente)

Visualizzerai un valore **Pending Rewards = 0** in una pool se:
- non hai token APE
- non sono state acquistate attrezzature in quella pool nel giorno in corso

### <center>Delegare Hive Power (HP) all'account @apeminingclub</center>

**Delegare token HP permette di ricevere una ricompensa giornaliera in token APE**.
Il 10% delle rewards va ai devs (@blockheadgames).
Una parte di queste rewards viede divisa tra i delegatori di Hive Power.
Io ho delegato 100 HP all'account @apeminingclub.

### <center>Prendere possesso di una pool</center>
***
C'è un modo per guadagnare token APE senza acquistare e utilizzare i token APE: utilizzare i token STEM per prendere possesso di una pool.

Ogni pool ha un Possessore (Owned By).
Se all'interno del riquadro di una Pool clicchi su **Take Ownership** puoi prendere possesso di quella pool.
I possessori di una pool ricevono il 10% dei token APE spesi dai miners per acquistare attrezzature della pool.
Prendere possesso di una pool ha un costo e questo costo:
- raddoppia ogni volta che cambia il proprietario della pool.
- si dimezza alla fine del giorno (momento dello snapshot)

Il costo per prendere possesso di una pool è un certo quantitativo di **token STEM** che è indicato nel riquadro **Take Ownership** come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.
Ad esempio per prendere possesso della pool CPU è necessario utilizzare 128 STEEM = 3.17$

Per giocare su Ape Mining Club ho acquistato **85 token APE**.

Quando ho piazzato il mio ordine di acquisto (3 novembre 2021) i token APE valevano più di oggi (0.52 SWAP.HIVE) mentre i token HIVE valevano meno di oggi (0.703$).

Il 12 novembre 2021 ho utilizzato i miei 85 token APE per acquistare:
- **1 CLOUD** - costo: 10 APE
- **1 GPU** - costo: 25 APE
- **1 ASIC** - costo: 50 APE

Con i guadagni ricevuti dai token BRO e dai token UTOPIS ho acquistato:
- **2 CPU** - costo 2 APE

Dal 12 novembre 2021 ad oggi (12 dicembre 2021) ho ottenuto dalla mia attività di gioco su Ape Mining Club un totale di **34.852 token APE**:
- 3.764 APE (Delegation Rewards)
- 31.088 APE (Mining Rewards + Holding Rewards)


Se considero il mio investimento solo in termini di token APE ho ottenuto in 30 giorni un **ROI** del **41%**

Se considero il mio investimento in termini di token HIVE ho ottenuto in 30 giorni un **ROI** del **14.79%**

In base ai valori attuali dei token HIVE e dei token APE per raggiungere il **punto di pareggio** devo ancora ottenere dalle ricompense un valore di 37.66 HIVE.

Per raggiungere il punto di pareggio dovrei impiegare **6.75 mesi (100/14.796)**.
Ovviamente questo è un risultato **stimato** perchè il tempo effettivo in cui raggiungerò il punto di pareggio dipenderà dal valore futuro dei token APE.
Se in futuro il valore in HIVE dei token APE aumenterà il tempo che impiegherò per raggiungere il punto di pareggio sarà inferiore mentre sarà superiore nel caso opposto.

Sono soddisfatto del risultato che ho ottenuto investendo in Ape Mining Club.
**Ho investito 44.20 HIVE e ho ottenuto ricompense del valore di 6.54 HIVE in 30 giorni**.
Il **mio obiettivo di breve termine** nel gioco Ape Mining Club è di ottenere **5 token APE al giorno**.
Per raggiungere questo obiettivo devo continuare ad investire e quando avrò raggiunto questo obiettivo mi focalizzerò sul raggiungimento del punto di pareggio.

Ciò che rende la blockchain di Hive più unica che rara sono le sue peculiarità:

Since you bought APE a month ago, the price took a dip after the recent rise of Hive. 

In my opinion, getting into APE right now will net a better ROI in term of Hive price if we consider APE price staying at the same level at 0.11 Hive.

Yes, those who enter now have an advantage over me because I paid for the APE tokens at a higher price than now and to reach the break-even point of my investment, I have to spend more time than those who enter now.

Adesso ti stupirò, per quello che leggerai, ma non pensare, ci ho messo tempo e non so se ho fatto bene, mi sono iscritto poco fa a Ape Mining, ho fatto alcuni tentativi ma dovrei aver comprato un qualcosa, 1 unità di CPU, ho seguito pari pari quello che hai scritto, a volte sono andato ad intuito (infatti non prendeva il comando, tanto per cambiare...), ma alla fine penso di essere riuscito a combinare qualcosa, mi sembra uno di quei giochi in cui ci vuole un po' per farli avviare, ma alla fine, nel medio periodo, possono arrivare a dare delle discrete soddisfazioni, rientra poi in un discorso più ampio, almeno per quanto mi riguarda, è una sorta di diversificazione di investimenti, perché, come hai giustamente rilevato e fatto presente tu, questi sono giochi fino a un certo punto, in quanto sono veri e propri investimenti, la nostra abilità è cercare di farli rendere al meglio...

Al momento mi sono affacciato, qualcosa ho fatto, anche se sono ancora quasi completamente sbilanciato verso Splinterlands, ma ogni tanto andrò a fare un giretto su Ape Mining, perché *a pelle* mi piace già...

In realtà è proprio il contrario e ti spiego meglio.
Nei miei post sui giochi di farming come dcrops e dcity o in questo gioco che è una simulazione di mining dove il tempo da dedicare è quasi zero sottolineo sempre che c'è un fattore di rischio da valutare e il motivo è che l'obiettivo o l'attrattiva di questi giochi è quasi esclusivamente il guadagno.
Inoltre specifico sempre la mia strategia che è di investire nella prima fase e poi di cercare di raggiungere il punto di pareggio nella seconda fase che è da raggiungere nel breve periodo e non nel lungo.
Questo per sottolineare che questa tipologia di giochi è ad alto rischio sopratutto se si punta molto.
L'osservazione di @poliwalt10 è molto soggettiva sulla definizione di "gioco" ma molto razionale e giusta quando dice che bisogna entrare subito in questi giochi perchè è il momento migliore e spesso è anche l'unico momento e si deve essere pronti ad uscire quando i segnali potrebbero essere di abbandono generale.
Questo non vuol dire che il token APE perderà necessariamente il suo valore o che il gioco avrà vita breve ma molto dipenderà dall'introduzione di nuovi casi d'uso futuri al token che senza perderà con molta probabilità il suo valore...
Rispetto ad altri giochi simili che hanno supply infinite Ape Mining Club è un gradino sopra perchè il token ha una supply definita e il 70% dei token spesi nell'acquisto delle attrezzature virtuali viene bruciato ma il fattore rischio, ripeto c'è e quindi bisogna essere sempre pronti a tutto e mettere in conto una possibile perdita. 
Ape Mining Club è un gioco giovane e io ho deciso di entrarci proprio per questo motivo ma ci tengo a sottolineare che il mio post, come ho scritto nella conclusione, è solo l'analisi del mio investimento e non è mai un invito a investirci.
I giochi che promuovo a spada tratta sono Rising Star e Splinterlands per motivi differenti: Rising Star non richiede investimenti iniziali, Splinterlands è un gioco divertente e di strategia che ha tanto da offrire e se si sfruttano tutte le possibilità di guadagno che offre (in particolare i contest) si recupera l'investimento iniziale in poco tempo.
Spero di esserti stato di aiuto nel capire meglio il tutto e soprattutto ci tenevo a sottolineare il fatto che se scrivo un post su un gioco non vuol dire che lo consiglio come investimento ma semplicemente condivido le mie scelte e le mie considerazioni.
Ad esempio nel mio prossimo post su Dcrops sarò molto critico su alcuni aspetti del gioco e anticiperò il mio rientro dell'investimento per frerollare senza pensieri ;)

Mi sono espresso male, caro @libertycrypto27, in quanto so perfettamente che tu fornisci un'analisi dettagliata di quello che stai provando, in questo caso *Ape Mining*, e che tu non dai nessuna tipologia di consiglio di investimento, semplicemente illustri in maniera dettagliata e analitica la tua esperienza, poi è sempre un processo personale il fatto di scegliere o meno se partecipare alle varie iniziative di cui parli, io ho usato impropriamente il termine opportunità, ma più che opportunità è un investimento a rischio, per cui resetta quanto ho scritto, e, in ogni caso, sono mie semplici impressioni, come per Splinterlands, o Rising Star, anche qui sono entrato autonomamente, se poi dovesse andare male pazienza, l'indole del giocatore è sempre presente dentro di me, anche se è passato più di un anno, ad esempio, dall'ultimo torneo di Texas Hold'Em...

Beh, se si inizia a chiamare titoli come questo "giochi", non può che finire male.

Questo è uno di quei titoli che spopolano sulla BSC, compri un token che metti a farmare un token che poi devi mettere altrove. Appena smetti di reinvestire le tue entrate smettono di crescere e iniziano a decrescere molto velocemente.

Entrare in questi titoli è conveniente solo quando sei tra i primi a farlo. Personalmente ne starò fuori perché questo non è gioco, incredibilmente riesce a essere meno gioco perfino di dCity. 🤣

Caro @poliwalt10 sono d'accordo con le tue osservazioni sulla tipologia di gioco che è ad alto rischio dal punto di vista finanziario e chi entra con il timing giusto può fare profitto ma sull'idea che hai tu del termine "gioco" ti devo amichevolmente contraddire :)
Dal tuo commento ho capito che per te un gioco è qualcosa che richiede impiego di tempo e abilità ed è così per giochi come scacchi, dama e anche le battaglie di Splinterlands in cui un minimo di strategia aiuta.
Ma questa è la tua concezione ristretta e soggettiva del termine di gioco che invece ha un ambito di applicazione vastissimo.
Il lancio dei dadi ad esempio è un gioco che richiede fortuna e nessuna abilità ma è universalmente chiamato gioco anche se d'azzardo.
La roulette o il lotto o il gratta e vinci (che io chiamo gratta e perdi :) non hanno nulla a che fare con abilità, strategia e tempo ma si chiamano giochi, giochi per persone che amano gettare i loro soldi e non conoscono il calcolo delle probabilità ma sono sempre giochi.
Chi investe in borsa si dice che gioca in borsa.
Chi gioca a Alien Worlds preme solo un pulsante per guadagnare TLM e Alien World anche se noioso è comunque un gioco.
Potrei continuare all'infinito con tanti esempi per dimostrarti che Ape Mining Club è di fatto un gioco che certo non richiede abilità all'interno del gioco ma richiede strategia nel timing dell'investimento e quindi chiamarlo gioco non è sbagliato e anzi forse chiamarlo titolo è più approssimativo, titolo di cosa?
Tutto questo per dirti che ho capito il senso e condivido il ragionamento dietro questa tua affermazione perchè ti conosco:

Ciao @tosolini dopo il tuo commento ho inserito altre informazioni nel post, la supply massima dei token APE è di 2,5 milioni e il 70% dei token APE utilizzati nell'acquisto di CPU, ASIC ecc. viene bruciata.
Quindi non daranno fuori APE all'infinito ;)
Ovviamente però bisognerà vedere l'appeal del gioco... a me è piaciuta l'idea alla base del gioco ma ovviamente in queste tipologie di giochi/investimenti cerco di raggiungere nel breve periodo il punto di pareggio in modo da avere rischio 0 e un'entrata passiva costante ;)

Grandissimo , aspettavo proprio un tutorial su Ape Mining Club , non avevo proprio capito come funzionava , ora vado a comprare qualche CPU e poi vedo se continuerò a investire.... Per il momento ho solo qualche APE nel mio wallet... !PGM  bellissimo post di un vero e proprio videogiocatore , non vedo l'ora che potrai inserire il #pgm per guadagnare PGM
