The success of Splinterlands has pushed up the value of all the game's assets.
In the panorama of blockchain-based games there are other games whose tokens have a very good market value but Splinterlands differs from other games because it has many assets.
All of the assets in the Splinterlands game have had a large increase in value over the last few months and this increase has also affected assets that do not yet have use cases other than tradability.

The assets of Splinterlands that have more use cases currently are:
- the Cards (NFT)
- DEC tokens
- SPS tokens
- SPT tokens

Then there are assets that do not yet have use cases but will in the future:
- Voucher tokens
- Plot tokens
- Totem tokens

In this post I want to focus on the **DEC token** whose value continues to grow and continues to surprise.

## <center>1000 DEC tokens = 9.92$</center>
***

At the time I am writing this post the value of a DEC token is **0.00992$** and **1000 DEC tokens** have the value of **9.92$**

On **August 4, 2020** 1 DEC token was worth **0.000526$** and **1000 DEC tokens** were worth **0.526$**. 
Two months later and one year ago, on **October 5, 2020**, I sold 81000 DEC tokens to do a Power Up on Hive and got 400 HIVE which at the time of my DEC sale was worth $64.8.
On October 5, 2020 **1000 DEC tokens** were worth **$0.8**

Today 400 HIVE are worth $258.4 but **81000 DEC** are worth much but much more than then: **1235 HIVE = $797**.

Unfortunately, the time machine I ordered has not yet arrived and I can't go back to that day :)
 
In the days following my sale, the value of DEC token exceeded even if briefly the $0.001 value but then decreased in value.

Just under 7 months ago (**March 11, 2021**) a DEC token had the value of **$0.00068** and **1000 DEC tokens** were worth **$0.68**.

On **July 20, 2021** a DEC token was worth **$0.00152**. 
**1000 DEC tokens** were worth **$1.52**.

On **July 21, 2021** @splinterlands announced **token Splintershards (SPS)** and announced the launch of the **Airdrop** of SPS tokens.

Two days after the announcement **the value of DEC tokens has doubled: $0.00322**
In fact on **23 July 2021 1000 DEC tokens** were worth **$3.228**.

Today **2 October 2021** one DEC token is worth **$0.092** and **1000 DEC tokens** are worth **$9.92**.

An amazing increase in value that shows how much potential Splinterlands has, how much potential the blockchain it was developed on (Hive) has, and how much potential blockchain-based games in general have (not all of course).

## <center>Why this further increase in value?</center>
***
The first big icrease in value of DEC tokens was generated by the weight of the score given to DEC tokens in the **airdrop of SPS tokens**:

**1 DEC token = 1 airdrop point**.

The further increase in value these days is mainly due to the **pre-sale of Chaos Legion card packs** starting on October 18, 2021 and the **distribution of Voucher tokens**.

In a previous post of mine, I summarized in tabular form all the details of the Chaos Legion presale (image below).

Each day 33333 Voucher tokens will be distributed based on the amount of SPS tokens staked by each player.

This explains the main reason for this further increase in the value of DEC tokens:

The value of DEC tokens may continue to rise as the presale start date approaches and the same could be said for SPS tokens that after the announcement of the presale date have gradually increased in value and are now worth $0.59.

## <center>The best time to earn more DEC tokens from Splinterlands battles</center>
***
With the current value of DEC tokens, it's important not to pass up any useful opportunity to earn more DEC tokens.

DEC tokens can be obtained in different ways:
- by buying them from markets outside Splinterlands
- from selling cards
- from renting your own cards
- from victories in battles

**The only way to get DEC tokens without paying a cost but only by spending time is to win a battle.**

**But what is the best time to earn more DEC tokens while playing Splinterlands?**

The answer is simple: **when there are fewer active players and therefore on days when fewer battles are played!**

The distribution of DEC tokens is done through a **Reward Pool**.
Most Splinterlands players increase their game activity (number of battles played) in the last days of Splinterlands seasons with the goal of getting a better end-of-season reward or with the goal of getting into the premium positions of the league rankings.
Once the season is over, most players relax and the number of games played decreases.

#### - active players = - battles played = - battle victories = + DEC tokens obtainable for each battle victory! ;)  

The advice I want to give to my readers especially now that DEC tokens have this value is therefore: 
#### <center>play more at the beginning of the Splinterlands season instead of at the end of the season!</center>

In the following image you can see the amount of DEC tokens I earned from the first 10 battles I won on the first day of the previous season: September 16, 2021.

Il successo di Splinterlands ha spinto verso l'alto il valore di tutti gli assets del gioco.
Nel panorama dei giochi basati su blockchain ci sono altri giochi che hanno avuto un grande successo e i cui token hanno un ottimo valore di mercato ma Splinterlands si differenzia dagli altri giochi perchè ha tanti assets.
Tutti gli assets del gioco di Splinterlands hanno avuto un grande incremento di valore negli ultimi mesi e questo incremento ha interessato anche gli assets che non hanno ancora casi d'uso se non la tradabilità.

Gli assets di Splinterlands che hanno più casi d'uso attualmente sono:
- le carte (NFT)
- i token DEC
- i token SPS
- i token SPT

Poi ci sono gli assets che non hanno ancora casi d'uso ma che ne avranno in futuro:

Purtroppo la macchina del tempo che ho ordinato non è ancora arrivata e non posso tornare indietro a quel giorno :)
 
Nei giorni successivi alla mia vendita il token DEC ha superato anche se per poco tempo il valore di 0.001$ ma poi è diminuito di valore.

Poco meno di 7 mesi fa (**11 marzo 2021**) un token DEC aveva il valore di **0.00068 $** e **1000 token DEC** valevano **0.68$**

Il **20 luglio 2021** un token DEC aveva il valore di **0.00152$** 
**1000 token DEC** valevano **1.52$**

Il **21 luglio 2021** @splinterlands annuncia i **token Splintershards (SPS)** e annuncia il lancio dell'**Airdrop** dei token SPS.

Un incremento di valore straordinario che mostra quanto potenziale ha Splinterlands, quanto potenziale ha la blockchain su cui è stato sviluppato (Hive) e quanto potenziale hanno in generale i giochi basati su blockchain (non tutti ovviamente).

## <center>Perchè questo ulteriore incremento di valore?</center>
***
Il primo grande icremento di valore dei token DEC è stato generato dal peso del punteggio attribuito ai token DEC nell'**airdrop dei token SPS**:

**1 token DEC = 1 punto dell'airdrop**

L'ulteriore incremento di valore avuto in questi giorni è dovuto principalmente alla **prevendita dei pacchi di carte Chaos Legion** che inizierà il 18 ottobre 2021 e alla **distribuzione dei token Voucher**.

In un mio precedente post ho riassunto in forma tabellare tutti i dettagli della prevendita Chaos Legion (immagine seguente).

Per comprare i pacchi di carte Chaos Legion durante la prevendita sarà necessario avere 1 token Voucher per ogni pacco di carte acquistato.

Ogni giorno 33333 token Voucher saranno distribuiti in base al quantitativo di token SPS messi in staking da ogni giocatore.

Ecco quindi spiegato il motivo principale di questo ulteriore aumento di valore dei token DEC:

<center>**+ token DEC = + token SPS dall'airdrop**</center>
<center>**+ token SPS staked = + token Voucher**</center>
<center>**+ token Voucher = + pacchi di carte Chaos Legion acquistabili durante la prevendita**</center>

Il valore dei token DEC potrebbe continuare a salire man mano che si avvicina la data dell'inizio della prevendita e lo stesso discorso potrebbe valere per i token SPS che dopo l'annuncio della data della prevendita hanno aumentato progressivamente il loro valore e oggi valgono 0.59$.

## <center>Il momento migliore per guadagnare più token DEC dalle battaglie di Splinterlands</center>
***
Con il valore attuale dei token DEC è importante non farsi scappare ogni occasione utile per guadagnare un numero maggiore di token DEC.

I token DEC possono essere ottenuti in modi diversi:
- dall'acquisto dai mercati esterni a Splinterlands
- dalla vendita delle carte
- dal noleggio delle proprie carte
- dalle vittorie in battaglia

**L'unico modo che permette di ottenere i token DEC senza sostenere un costo ma solo impiegando del tempo è la vittoria in battaglia.**

Ma qual'è il momento migliore che permette di guadagnare un numero maggiore di token DEC giocando a Splinterlands?

La risposta è semplice: quando ci sono meno giocatori attivi e quindi nei giorni in cui vengono giocate meno battaglie!

La distribuzione dei token DEC avviene tramite una **Reward Pool**.
La maggior parte dei giocatori di Splinterlands aumenta la sua attività di gioco (il numero di battaglie giocate) negli ultimi giorni delle stagioni di Splinterlands con l'obbiettivo di ottenere una ricompensa di fine stagione migliore o con l'obbiettivo di entrare nelle posizioni premiate delle classifiche di lega.
Finita la stagione la maggior parte dei giocatori si rilassa e diminuisce il numero di partite giocate.

#### - giocatori attivi = - battaglie giocate = - vittorie in battaglia = + token DEC ottenibili per ogni vittoria in battaglia! ;)  

Il consiglio che voglio dare ai miei lettori soprattuto ora che i token DEC hanno questo valore è quindi: 
#### <center>gioca maggiormente all'inizio della stagione di Splinterlands invece che alla fine della stagione!</center>
