I play several blockchain-based games but out of all of them **Splinterlands is the game that offers the most earning possibilities to its players.**
There are rewards that are strictly related to the game and there are rewards that are instead related to the activity of publishing content related to the Splinterlands game.

## <center>The in-game rewards</center>
The player who plays on the Splinterlands website can earn:
- **token DEC** for each battle victory or prize placement in a tournament.
- **token SPS** from the airdrop in progress
- **chests** that can contain **token DEC, cards** (NFT) and **potions**.
Chests are obtained from completing daily missions and as an end-of-season reward (every 15 days) 

## <center>Rewards for blogging on Hive</center>

In addition to in-game rewards Splinterlands rewards players who post Splinterlands game-related content on the Hive blockchain.
In fact, those who publish a post about Splinterlands on Hive can get the following two rewards:
- **maximum 2 upvotes** per week from the @steemmonsters account.
Each week the @splinterlands account runs weekly contests that require:
	- the writing and publication of a post on Hive related to Splinterlands
	- Subsequent sharing of the post on Hive on any social network other than Hive.

- **a quantity of SPT tokens**. 

If you don't know what SPT tokens are, I'll explain in brief what they are.

## <center>SPT tokens</center>

SPT tokens are second layer tokens of the Hive blockchain and are the **Splintertalk** community tokens. 
They are tokens created by the @splinterlands account and are tokens related to the activity of publishing posts on Hive that:
- have as a topic Splinterlands
- have as tags: **splinterlands** and/or **spt**.

Whenever you publish a post whose topic is the Splinterlands game and you use the tags **spt** and/or **splinterlands** your post will be visible on Hive but it will also be visible within the Splintertalk community at the following address: https://www.splintertalk.io/

The interface of https://www.splintertalk.io/ is very similar to the interface of https://hive.blog/ but there are some differences.
On https://hive.blog/ (as well as https://peakd.com/ or https://ecency.com/) all posts published on the Hive blockchain are displayed and the reward of a post is visualized in **$(HTU)**.
On https://www.splintertalk.io/, only a subset of posts published on the Hive blockchain are displayed: posts that have one or both of the splinterlands and spt tags.

On Splintertalk, post rewards are only displayed in terms of SPT tokens.

For example, the post about Splinterlands that I wrote and published yesterday is viewable on https://peakd.com/ (as well as on https://hive.blog/ or https://ecency.com/) where it got a reward of $16.31(HTU).

Since I used the splinterlands tag my post is also viewable within the https://www.splintertalk.io/ community and the reward I've gotten so far is **263.14** **SPT** tokens.

The mechanism for dividing SPT tokens between the **author** of the post and the **curator** of the post (the one who votes on the post) is **50%/50%** respectively (exactly like on Hive), and so if no other Hive user votes on my post, after seven days from the publication of my post I will receive **131.57 SPT tokens** (263.14/2).



If you are a Splinterlands player like me who, in addition to playing games, also publishes content related to the game of Splintelands, I recommend you to stake your SPT tokens on Hive Engine because **the more tokens you accumulate and stake on HiveEngine/LeoDex/TribalDex, the more your SPT Power will increase and consequently you will earn more SPT tokens every time you vote a post with the tag splinterlands and/or spt**.

## <center>The value of SPT tokens</center>

Generally, adding a use case to a token produces an increase in the value of the token.
The airdrop of SPS tokens has produced an increase of the value of SPT tokens because **each SPT token has the value of 0.25 points** for the purposes of the current airdrop.

The last time I checked the value of SPT tokens was July 24, 2021 and 1 SPT token was worth **0.00350 HIVE** (Highest BID) while a month earlier (June 19, 2021) an SPT token was only worth **0.00074 HIVE** (Highest Bid).

In the period between June 19 and July 24, 2021 the value of 1 SPT token had increased by **372.97%**.

## <center>My Road to 1 million SPT tokens</center>
***

I earned my first SPT tokens on October 25, 2019 and to date I have never sold a single SPT token and I won't be selling them in the next days either because I have a specific goal to reach:
### <center>1 million SPT tokens</center>
To reach more easily my goal I created a secondary account, a **curation account** that I called @libertygame27 
With my main account I follow many authors whose posts cover different topics and consequently also have different tags.
My secondary account @libertygame27 I don't use to publish content but I use it to optimize the accumulation of SPT tokens and its main function is to vote only posts that have the splinterlands tag and/or the spt tag.
This way I don't waste my voting power relative to SPT tokens: my **SPT POWER**.

July 24, 2021 is the last day I checked libertygame27's wallet.
A month ago, I had accumulated a total of **516515** **SPT** tokens (tokens received in delegation from my main account + tokens placed in stakes).

The total amount of SPT tokens I have today is **549551** units.

In just over a month (33 days) I have increased the amount of SPT tokens in my possession by **33036** units with a percentage increase of **+6.40%**.
The average daily gain was **1001 SPT tokens**.

To reach my goal of 1 million SPT tokens I still have **450449 SPT tokens** left to go.
If I maintain the same rate of daily increment that I have achieved over the past 33 days I should reach my goal in approximately **450 days** (450449 / 1001) = 449.99 days).

Se sei un giocatore di Splinterlands come me che, oltre a giocare. pubblica anche contenuti inerenti al gioco di Splintelands ti consiglio di mettere in stake i token SPT su Hive Engine perchè **più token accumulerai e metterai in stake su HiveEngine/LeoDex/TribalDex e più il tuo potere di voto relativo ai token SPT (SPT Power) aumenterà e di conseguenza guadagnerai un quantitativo di token SPT sempre maggiore ogni volta che voterai un post con il tag splinterlands e/o spt**.

## <center>Il valore dei token SPT</center>

Generalmente l'aggiunta di un caso d'uso ad un token produce un aumento del valore del token.
L'airdrop dei token SPS ha prodotto un aumento di valore dei token SPT perchè **ogni token SPT ha il valore di 0.25 punti** ai fini dell'airdrop attualmente in corso.

L'ultima volta che ho controllato il valore dei token SPT era il 24 luglio 2021 e 1 token SPT valeva **0.00350 HIVE** (Highest BID) mentre un mese prima (19 giugno 2021) un token SPT valeva solo **0.00074 HIVE** (Highest Bid).

Nel periodo tra il 19 giugno e il 24 luglio 2021 il valore di 1 token SPT era cresciuto del **372.97%**

## <center>La mia strada verso 1 milione di token SPT</center>
***

I miei primi token SPT li ho guadagnati il 25 ottobre 2019 e fino ad oggi non ho mai venduto un singolo token SPT e non li venderò neanche nei prossimi giorni perchè ho un obiettivo preciso da raggiungere:
### <center>1 milione di token SPT</center>
Per raggiungere più facilmente il mio obbiettivo ho creato un account secondario, un **curation account** che ho chiamato @libertygame27 
Con il mio account principale seguo molti autori i cui post riguardano argomenti diversi e di conseguenza hanno anche tag diversi.
Il mio account secondario @libertygame27 non lo uso per pubblicare contenuti ma lo utilizzo per ottimizzare l'accumulo dei token SPT e la sua principale funzione è quella di votare esclusivamente i post che hanno il tag splinterlands e/o il tag spt.
In questo modo non spreco il mio potere di voto relativo ai token SPT: il mio **SPT POWER**.

Il 24 luglio 2021 è l'ultimo giorno in cui ho controllato il wallet di libertygame27.
Un mese fa avevo accumulato un totale di **516515** token **SPT** (token ricevuti in delega dal mio account principale + token messi in stake).

Il totale di token SPT che ho oggi è di **549551** unità.

In poco più di un mese (33 giorni) ho incrementato il quantitativo di token SPT in mio possesso di **33036** unità con un incremento percentuale di **+6.40%**.
Il guadagno medio giornaliero è stato di **1001 token SPT**.

Per raggiuntere il mio obiettivo di 1 milione di token SPT mi mancano ancora **450449 token SPT**.
Se mantengo lo stesso ritmo di incremento giornaliero che ho ottenuto negli ultimi 33 giorni dovrei raggiungere il mio obbiettivo in circa **450 giorni** (450449 / 1001) = 449.99 giorni).

In base al valore attuale dei token SPT (Highest BID) il valore totale del quantitativo di token in mio possesso è di **4945.99 HIVE = 2621.37$**.

Il mio curation account ha perso due posizioni rispetto a 33 giorni fa e adesso si trova nella posizione numero 19.

- totale token SPT: 87604770.15
- Numero di token messi in staking: 74127763.36 (84.64%).

La percentuale dei token messi in staked è sempre un dato importante da considerare perchè mostra quanto i possessori dei token SPT tengono ai propri token.
L'84.64% dei token SPT in circolazione si trova in stato di staking (27 agosto 2021).
Un valore sopra l'80% è sempre un ottimo indicatore anche se 33 giorni fa la percentuale di stacking era più alta di quasi due punti percentuali.

Anche in questo mese i token SPT hanno acquistato valore e grazie all'airdrop dei token SPS hanno un caso d'uso aggiuntivo.
Spero che in futuro Splinterlands penserà a nuovi casi d'uso per il token SPT come ad esempio l'utilizzo per l'acquisto diretto delle carte e degli altri elementi del gioco di Splinterlands.

Splinterlands offre molte possibilità di guadagno ai suoi giocatori e i token SPT sono un valore aggiunto per i giocatori come me che, oltre a giocare, partecipano ai contest e scrivono post inerenti al bellissimo gioco di Splinterlands.
