Local people from East Wall are booing local politicians. This is why they don't want a public consultation on refugee centres. This is why the leader of our country declared that we have no human rights or a say in our own country.

The majority of Irish know that Ireland is full and our public resources are being stolen by vested interest groups. 

Malachy Steenson from East Wall spoke to RTE on Drive Time about some of the locals' concerns. Then instantly the reporter went on about some BS story about Donald Trump supporters being there. RTE is a publicly funded media, and they have been spreading lies about these protests ever since the lockdown. Even when they interview people, they lie about their political positions. 

Labour councillor Joe Costello said, “It’s a bit much to arrange a meeting with councillors on a Friday evening after people have moved in already”. 

If it's a bit much then don't all these refugee centres to happen. We've been waiting for more than 2 years for public representatives to talk to us about the economic and housing crisis. I have never seen a social care worker about my legal entitlements to housing and pandemic payments, yet these refugees get free housing and job support?

Local People Before Profit group have said that signs that read "Irish Lives Matter" are considered hatred. That's the world we live in. None of the political parties that are given public money thinks our lives matter.

This is why on a fundamental level, we need to come together as a community and be freely allowed to voice our opposition to the destruction of our society.
